We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay home and enjoy front porch sitting to appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

Come and enjoy a slice of heaven. Mother Nature has provided a beautiful scenery full of nature sounds and calls of the wild. You can sit on the screen porch overlooking the lake and feel peace. You can sit by a fire outdoors and feel free and private and safe and hear the crickets and bullfrog. There's nothing but love, peace and joy here. There's room for social distancing and I covid clean and I am vaccinated.

We are also located about 5 mins away from Lake Fork via drive.
