Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

Nestled in the heart of the scenic Hook Peninsula, our home is a cherished gem steeped in memories of wonderful family holidays. Once a humble fisherman's terraced house, it has been lovingly renovated to blend charm with modern comforts. Just a two minute stroll brings you to Duncannon's famed long beach and when you work up an appetite there are a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Enjoy a quiet getaway in the Wexford countryside in this old 1800s stone building which includes a private ornamental garden to relax in. We have enjoyed special Christmas gatherings and spent long summer holidays enjoying the spectacular beaches in the area including the one at the bottom of the garden!
