Cosy escape in beautiful North Wales.

In the heart of the Dee Valley, 5 minute walk from the World Heritage site, Pontecysyllte Aqueduct/canal; & Tower Hill Barns wedding venue; 4 mile canal walk/cycle to Llangollen & 6 miles from Wrexham. The apartment, skirted by a babbling brook, forms the top floor of a converted stable. Detached from but next to our Victorian home. Many pleasant walks & close to Offas Dyke path. Also good for cycling, running, kayaking. Next to bus stop for Llangollen/Wrexham. A dog friendly, quiet spot

Shepherds Hut, Llangollen, North Wales

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. Tyno Isa is a small holding with horses and chickens. Our Shepherds Hut Sleeps two, has a kitchen, electric shower and toilet. Woodburning stove and underfloor heating and two comfy chairs. Outside there is a raised deck with dining and lounging facilities, bbq plus parking. Electric bikes available to hire. 3 miles to Llangollen, 15 mins walk to Pontcysyllte aqueduct, situated on Offa's Dyke. Horse b&b welcome too. Non smoking site

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.

If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

The Lodge in beautiful North Wales & near Chester

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Surrounded by amazing views, including Hope Mountain one side and the remains of the old viaduct nestled in amongst trees the other side. Set within the grounds of the Hall, the accommodation provides a peaceful retreat. Just 13 miles from Chester, 17 miles from Chester Zoo and about an hours drive from Snowdonia. Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

Dee Valley Yurt

Situated on the river Dee, just 2 minutes walk to Llangollen bridge and all town centre amenities. We are dog & child friendly with a fairy garden, tree house and trampoline. We are set in a private enclosed 1 acre garden on the river bank with fishing rights. There are a variety of seating areas, fire pit and BBQ. You have your own private fully equipped kitchen, plumbed toilet and shower.

Historic cottage in Llangollen

A quiet Grade II listed cottage tucked away in the heart of the historic town of Llangollen. This lovely stone-built house has recently been refurbished to a high standard with simple oak furniture and light interior spaces. The house has a master bedroom with a super-king sized bed. A second bedroom with two single beds makes this a comfortable fit for four visitors.

The Annexe is a part of an Old Coach House which was built in the late 19th Century. The Old Coach House was originally part of the Chevet Hay Estate. 2 bedrooms, 1 single & 1 double room. Open plan living/dining room. 15 mins walk to Glyndwr University 20 mins walk to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
