Had a wonderful 2 nights staying in the cottage on a working farm. It felt really peaceful but was also only a 5-10 min drive to Ruthin. We stayed here so we could go walking in the Clwydian Range, this was around a 15-20 min drive depending on which car park we wanted to start the walk from, but it was all perfect for us. We even found a short local walk from the cottage itself along a public footpath. The cottage was very well equipped, we used the kitchen each evening, and it was a lovely cozy space. The cottage was immaculate and we really enjoyed the hot tub, and watching the horses nearby. Richard and Ceri were lovely and welcoming hosts and we'd highly recommend the rural retreat.

Great small touches lovely fresh eggs, bread, butter, wine and even supplied some baby food for our grandson. Very friendly and thoughtful, responsive to requests. We also met Luke who kindly lit us a fire in the evenings. Lovely Airbnb comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our families and friends to stay.

I've always been a bit nervous about doing an Air BnB but I shouldn't have worried. Communication was great. I had some questions about the home, got rub and local area and I always got a speedy response. The hot tub was a major plus. Really enhanced our stay and it was a huge hit. The weather certainly helped and there was everything we needed in the home if not more! I would potentially return here again. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at the cottage. Jan and her husband were so kind, friendly and welcoming. The check in process was super easy and we were given a lovely tour of the cottage and all the facilities. The garden was secure which was great for our dogs. The cottage was super clear and the beds were very comfy. The hot tub was amazing! And the views all around the cottage were breathtaking. There was a really helpful guide in the cottage filled with local recommendations which we found really helpful. My cousin was planning to come visit us whilst we stayed at the cottage in her small camper van, Jan was so kind and allowed her to park in their yard so she could be close to us instead of having to park at a campsite. Their kindness blew us away!

We absolutely loved our stay at the enchanting cottage. It was very peaceful and situated in beautiful surroundings. We were delighted by the accommodation, and with four of us, we felt there was plenty of room. One minor issue we encountered was that the WiFi password was slightly confusing, and the postcode led us to a different location, which caused a bit of confusion. The description 'fourth house down on the right' was confusing; maybe 'the large red house' would have been more useful. However, the pictures showing the house and the location of the car park were very helpful in finding the house. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We are incredibly grateful for your wonderful hospitality. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cute and peaceful stay.

llyr and Emma's house was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. we would love to go back soon. The surround are was so peaceful and scenic. My son had a problem with his car whilst we were there, Llyr came within 10 minutes on his quad with a battery pack to help us. Can't thank you both enough for such a lovely stay for me and my family.

We had a lovely stay. The house was spotless on arrival and the extras for breakfast were a really nice touch. The location on the canal was beautiful and we enjoyed the walk into Chester along the canal path. We visited both the Cheshire Cat and Ring O Bells in Christleton, both were a short walk from the cottage. The Sunday lunch at Ring O Bells was superb !! We would def recommend booking this airbnb for anyone visiting the area.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us-our dog loved pottering around the secure garden, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was safe. The views from every window are absolutely stunning, and the whole place was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. Emma is an amazing host. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

We loved our stay in this pretty cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and sit and chat in the evenings. The front garden is a sun trap and a great place to sit and chill after a busy day. The cottage was easy to find and the key safe makes it easy to access and means you’re not tied to a specific time. Great power showers and comfy beds too. The perfect place to stay if you want to be in Betws.

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

I had a fantastic stay! The surroundings were absolutely lovely—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly proactive and accommodating, always on hand to help and ensure everything was just right. I especially appreciated the thoughtful local recommendations, which really enhanced our experience. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was well equipped. Great location with lots to do. Enjoyed a good curry at Village Spice in Corwen and walks around Llangollen.

We absolutely loved our stay with Ruth. The cottage is very comfortable and cozy and has all the amenities you could need or want, but if you were missing something, I’m sure Ruth would get it for you! She and her husband were very friendly and we had a great time chatting with them. She gave us great recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. We feel like we’ve made lifelong friends and we definitely plan to come back!

We loved staying in this idyllic location. The garden was great for the dogs to run around in and we got to go on walks in the peak district. Judy is so lovely and the place was spotless. We would love to come again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Cosy and clean space. Julie was really easy to communicate with and there was some nice touches like the mini hamper left for us. Our toddler enjoyed her stay too and it's a good location to get to a few different family attractions

A perfect place for those seeking a tranquil get away together. The cottage had everything you could want including a huge bath! You had but to open the bedroom curtains to have a unfettered view of the river, and nature, with a private area both out the back and down by the river side to enjoy it even further. There are plenty of walks and things to see & do locally too. Hannah was a wonderfully responsive host. We hope to stay again soon!
