All rooms are private & Japanese style with Tatami & Futons. You can get to Lake on foot. Upside-down Fuji view spot is 10 minutes on foot. It is only about 1.7 km from Kawaguchiko Station which is easily walkable. There are supermarkets , convenience stores and some restaurants and hot spring within walking distance .

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Tipy is located a 3-minute walk from Odawara Station. This is a "Machigoto guest house" with 3 buildings: "Inn", "House" and "Room". This room is a "Tatami room" located in the "inn". "Inn" is a Showa-era retro guest house that was renovated from a 70-year-old house, and has four rooms and a common space. *Unlike a typical hotel, the bath, toilet, and kitchen are shared with other guests. We provide pick up services for free at JR Kawaguchiko station, and JR Isawaonsen station .
