It's ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, steam railway, the coast and the historic walled city of York. Located on one of the main roads in Pickering (sometimes there will be traffic noise) the tree lined street of Eastgate is beautiful in all seasons and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Visit one of the fantastic pubs or catch a steam train to Whitby.

If you're looking for a break with family or friends in North Yorkshire, let's talk. Deer Park is a much loved house with a long history. Today it is a comfortable base for a break with as much adventure, relaxation, romance and celebration as you might want. Set in 20 acres of Capability Brown parkland the house sleeps 10 people, in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with a huge kitchen diner and 4 more reception rooms. Dog friendly. Less than 30 minutes to York, the coast and the moors.

Beautifully renovated 300 year old Mill House, cosy cottage feel on our working farm on the edge of the Wolds. A perfect cottage for two, tasteful and spacious bedroom with on suite bathroom. A short drive from many wonderful attractions and activities. We are unable to take short breaks in July and August .

A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare!
