Excellent access to the atv/snowmobile trails and the great outdoors in general. Da Knob on Lake Independence

Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Yellow Dog Yurt - Peace and Quiet near Marquette

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking

This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
