Beautiful lodge. Spotless, comfortable bed, lovely fresh linens. Fantastically equipped. Beautiful views. Just perfect.

Amazing location, very helpful and friendly hosts. Private back garden, ideal for dogs. Dufftown is a beautiful town, also very dog friendly. Our GSP, Clementine, was invited into the Glenfiddich Distillery Shop for treats. We left with a few, ourselves. Highly recommended.

This was the best little place to stay just outside of Aberdeen. Close enough to restaurants, far enough away from the city. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and exactly as shown on pictures. I was a bit worried about being cold overnight but the heating was working very well and kept us warm at all times. Netflix wasn’t working- I guess it’s to with the rural area so it affects the internet connection. We weren’t aware of extra electricity charges until the arrival but that didn’t affect our stay what so ever. Everything was spot on. Thank you!

We are a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The chalet is comfortable, well-equipped and there are great walking and wildlife watching opportunities on the doorstep.

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathrine's place. We are happy with all the amenities provided. Wi-Fi is available, although it is not included in the description. Katherine is very friendly and recommended local attractions for us to visit. There are nice beaches and beach caves to walk and explore.

The Sweet Donside Cabins were absolutely fantastic. They are charming and extremely well appointed: everything feels thought out in advance and of high quality and design. The hosts are extremely responsive, accommodating, and kind. The surrounding area beautiful and full of adventure for those looking for a few nights away. We will definitely be back!

The pod was absolutely amazing, Lewis was very responsive and flexible when our travel plans changed. Would throughly recommend as a place to stay.

We've spent a lovely weekend at Gemma's place. Very nice and quiet place with big enclosed garden sits in a beautiful countryside location. Gemma was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We're going to recommend this lovely place to our friends. Thank you very much for having us.

The Shepards hut stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was great and made sure the hot tub was ready for our arrival and topped us up with logs whenever needed. Everything was spotless and our host offered suggestions for nearby visits and made sure we had everything we needed. Games room area was fantastic! We will be back

The Wee Red Roost was fantastic and all that we had expected. Jen was a perfect hostess and the setting was gorgeous. Watching the wildlife was soothing and peaceful. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We hope to go back again for a visit.

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

We had a fantastic stay at the Shepherds Hut, cleverly laid out, clean and cozy. Loads of sheep and lambs in the next door field. Birds and deer to spot too. Claire and Kevin were very welcoming and helpful, full of good ideas of where to go. Kevin dropped us off and picked us up from The Croft Inn on our wedding anniversary! The hut is really lovely, comfy double bed, a large shower (for its size) with loads of hot water. We used the log burner, which was great, as we had sleet & snow. The first night was clear and mild and we saw so many stars! We would highly recommend and will hopefully be back.

What an amazing place. Tranquility at its finest Pree and Ben were brilliant. They give you privacy but will also be there to help with anything. Absolutely gorgeous place! Cant be more thankful for the weekend we just had. Gave us everything we needed. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay. The animals are beautiful and wonderful. Our host was always responsive. POD is surprisingly more spacious than I expected. We visited 3 near by castles. We loved the drive from Edinburgh. Water was nice and hot. Very nice. Would stay again!

A great place for a sneak out of the city. The sight to the sea is brilliant. Sit out space, load of things to do and places to visit. There’s also a Chinese take away spot around the corner. You can visit Crovie village which is just 22mins drive. It’s simply awesome. I recommend.

We really loved our weekend getaway from the city, so much so that we were very close to asking if we could extend our stay an extra night. It was really peaceful. Idylic surrounds and very private. The woodfired tub and pizza oven were particular highlights. The shepherds hut was tastefully decorated. Possibility of a hot shower if you can heat a couple of kettles of hot water.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few nights at Carole and her husband’s charming highway cabin, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The cabin itself is a beautiful retreat nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by nature. It was the perfect spot for me and my kids to unwind and create lasting memories together. Carole and her husband went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, providing us with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. There are plenty of local attractions and activities nearby, making it easy to explore the area. We loved our daily adventures and were always excited to return to the cozy cabin in the evenings. A special highlight of our stay was the delightful company of their friendly sheep! They added an extra touch of charm to our experience, and my kids loved interacting with them.
