Very quiet and peaceful location - the only thing you will hear at night is the owls hooting! Miles of beautiful walks are on the doorstep, and we are also short drive from the Ridgeway. Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Welcome to The Hyde, our beautiful Shepherd's hut is waiting for you, with stunning views over the countryside, you'll have deer, pheasants, hares, kites, buzzards to name a few on your doorstep. Being a working small holding you are welcome to come and see our sheep, lambs and horses, you will be greeted with fresh eggs from our chicken and honey from our bees. The Hyde is fitted with modern facilities, a BBQ area, where you can sit back and relax there are wonderful walks, and local pubs.

Manstone Cottage, Yattendon

Situated just outside the picturesque village of Yattendon, Manstone Cottage is surrounded by beautiful views of rolling country side. Spacious and elegantly furnished, with private parking the cottage is the ideal get away for couples, families or small groups. Within walking distance of the village with it's fantastic pub, shop, cafe, brewery and beauty salon you won't have much need to go far but it's also well situated for access to Newbury, Hungerford, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - it’s now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe. The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Tucked away at the bottom of a mature garden lies The Studio at The Forge. The Studio has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Inside there is a kitchenette with everything you will need to prepare a meal during your stay. The guest house includes a comfortable king-sized bed to ensure a good nights sleep with a private bathroom. There is a dedicated working space within the main room with a TV and a large sofa which has a pull out bed to accommodate extra guests on request.

Our cottage is in a great little hamlet in Berkshire and is the perfect location for walking and exploring the countryside and the towns of Newbury and Reading.The cottage itself is open plan and is very light and airy with a modern mediterranean feel to it. It has two lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is perfect for a quiet getaway or a busy shopping spree!
