Completely brand new remodel from dated ranch house to modern farmhouse. Situated in charming Gas City minutes outside of Iola, home of the country’s largest town square. With a town motto like “Don’t pass Gas, stop and stay awhile” please stop and stay awhile in this beautiful home. No smoking and no pets indoors. Pets disclosed to host prior to visit can stay in the fenced backyard as long as any waste is disposed of properly. Any pets that are not disclosed will forfeit the security deposit.

Spacious barndominium in Iola

This spacious barndo, located just off the downtown square in Iola, near trails (Southwind, Prairie Spirit, and LeHigh) & centrally located around pristine hunting ground, is the perfect place for your hunting trip, cycling crew, or family visiting town. This space allows you to have fun with the kids playing basketball, foosball, board games, or running through the big yard or just relaxing on the reclining couches watching tv, sitting by the firepit, or enjoying dinner on the covered patio.

The Cottage

This is a cute little cottage on the south side of town. If you walk a half a block to the south you will see a cattle pasture and a large community garden. There’s a beautiful loop walk to the south that will make you feel like you’re out in the country and the grocery store is a short walk away! You’re not too far from America’s largest town square either. Iola has wonderful biking trails and a bike share program that allows you to borrow a bike for free! We happily welcome long-term stays!

We are still sprucing up the outside. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood while relaxing on the large cozy front porch. Our home is 3 blocks from the largest town square in the U.S. It is also a short bike ride from the Lehigh Portland Trails and the Prairie Spirit Trail State Park. Iola is the home of Allen Community College.

Park your car and then use the local bike trail system to explore the newly created Lehigh Portland State Park.
