Nicole’s place is an absolute gem, especially if you’re looking for something pet friendly!! Not only is she a fantastic host but the home had everything you need for a great stay, close to all that Myrtleford has to offer.

Perfect stay. Absolutely gorgeous surrounds, the bath was so beautiful & relaxing, slept like a baby and would love to know where they get their bread from! Kat & Angus were so lovely and made us feel at home, plus loved the chickens always roaming around and the dog cuddles. Thank you so much for such a much needed relaxing getaway.

Michele and their friendly dog Max greeted me on arrival and I was made to feel very welcome. The self contained apartment was perfect for my stay with views over their beautiful property. I was warm and comfortable overnight and had a very relaxing and satisfying breakfast. Many thanks to Bryan and Michele (and Max) for their hospitality.

The ideal long weekend retreat away from the city and crowds. Barb was so warm and welcoming and had a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, fruit, coffee and snacks ready for us! Everything is thought of, with the fully equipped kitchenette and fridge, BBQ, board games and a cosy fireplace - couldn't think of anything else we needed. It was Easter weekend so the surrounding areas were busy, but it was so nice to come back "home" to Barb's place, just keep in mind it is about a 35-40min drive from Bright, Beechworth etc. But that's what makes it special, it's so quiet (apart from the farm noises) and the stars were incredible. Her family were visiting and gave us privacy but also were lovely and shared extra eggs from their Easter egg hunt and opening the gates for us. Definitely worth the stay and would highly recommend Barb's farm stay place!

I had the most relaxing stay at Gay's tiny home and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Inside the home was spotless and I really appreciated the quality bedlinen and thoughtful touch of cake and chocolate which we enjoyed with a cuppa on arrival. Continental breakfast was also very welcome The feeling of warmth and comfort as soon as I stepped in side was very special, Gay is a very responsive host and gave clear directions to the property, meeting us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. I am already planning a return visit and next time will definitely be staying longer. Thank you Gay for a much needed and rejuvenating short break.

Such an amazing getaway for a peaceful rejuvenation. We loved every minute of our stay, the hosts are awesome, so friendly and had such an amazing recommendations of local places to see, eat. And, the dog Bailey is such a huge morale boost. We will certainly be back as this place is so central to so many amazing placed around to explore.

A gorgeous property in the most serene gardens. Very quiet location , yet brilliantly located to Harrietville township and easy access to walking trails. The cottage was warm and cosy on one of the coldest weekends at this time of year. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Recommended!!

we had an amazing stay! Fay and Bushy were absolutely wonderful hosts—so warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. They made everything super easy and comfortable. The place itself was even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

We (family of 4, kids 9 & 11) needed a break from busy life, and Doug’s country house was perfect. Peaceful, with stunning views of mountains, valleys, cows, and sheep. It’s secluded, so no need for curtains—just expect the occasional cow or kookaburra call. The 3-bedroom home is cozy, with a fireplace (wood & matches provided), a well-equipped kitchen (essentials included), and a thoughtful welcome of eggs, milk, bread & butter—especially helpful as shops were closed for Easter. There were books and games (we enjoyed a game of quoits in the hallway). There are 2 washing machines, soap, and clothes racks. Bedrooms have heaters, though we didn’t need them. Highly recommend Dederang Pub for woodfired pizza, beer, and friendly locals. Great day trips: Mt Beauty (Gorge Walk—bring waterproof shoes and swimmers, if you are brave), Beechworth (Burke Museum, Woolshed Falls, Beechworth Berries for sweetest strawberries), Yackandandah (Star Hotel, Grace’s Place Thai) and of course Bright.
