This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

This was an AMAZING stay! A group of us came to Richmond to celebrate my 30th birthday and our plans consisted of staying in, cooking, watching tv, and playing board games. We wanted to feel at home and be comfortable cooking and spending time together. This Airbnb certainly delivered! The rooms were big and spacious, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE and we immediately felt at home. If we needed anything, it was likely already provided and if we had any questions, the hosts were very quick to respond. They certainly went above and beyond. It was well worth the money we paid and we enjoyed ourselves so much. The photos came out beautifully too! What an incredible house and even better facilities. We can’t wait to return — this time in the summer!

The house was perfect for our work trip—clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Everything was as described, and the attention to detail made the stay even more enjoyable. Hands down the cleanest and one of the best appointed Airbnb stays I have ever had. Patrick is a terrific host and very easy to work with. His apartment is a terrific value and in a peaceful and convenient area in Richmond. His yard was perfect for our small dogs. we can't say enough good about our experience!! Just stay here if it's open!

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

This was easily our best stay at an air bnb. There were so many wonderful and thoughtful touches and amenities that delighted us. The space was so inspiring, relaxing, and convenient in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Easy to park and made for a wonderful weekend trip to Richmond!

Great cozy space for a weekend trip! My friends and I went to Busch gardens for the weekend and wanted a quiet yet affordable and reasonably close location for the park. Casey was very attentive with our questions about getting in (it was all operator error aka me 😳😳) and any other inquires about our stay. The location is on a quiet street with an amazing coffee shop that is directly behind the Airbnb. We will definitely be back!! Casey also offered dish soap, hand soap, detergents, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a few more things in case they were forgotten.

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

I highly recommend Johnny's! What stood out to me walking into the unit for the first time is that Johnny seems to really care--he cares about your experience, he cares about offering a home and not just a place to stay, he pays attention to details, he cares about design and aesthetics. He seems to care from a place of valuing experiences and taking pride in his own work product, not because he's trying to sell something for reviews like so many Airbnbs these days (I've stayed in over 30 in the last two years). It was my first time in Richmond and while I considered staying in the Fan District, I am so glad I ended up at Johnny's. As it turns out, Richmond is sprawled out and I would have been driving irrespective of what neighborhood I was staying in and Johnny's was centrally located for everything I wanted to explore. I enjoyed my daily walks around the neighborhood, and there's a cute new bookstore and a bagel shop down the street. Johnny is also so easy to communicate with.
