Mountain Church Cottage

Mountain Church Cottage offers a great stay in the hills of Middletown, Maryland. Activities nearby include access to the Appalachian Trail. The roads are a perfect challenge for the serious cyclist and runner, but it’s just a 15 minute drive to the flat terrain of the C&O Canal bike path. For kayakers, Potomac River access is in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It's just a short drive to Antietam National Battlefield. And for those who enjoy a glass, there are a number of wineries in the region.

Riverfront Cottage in Shepherdstown, WV

Escape to this tranquil, riverfront retreat with stunning, year-round river views, a private dock (available late May-Sept) & firepit. Relax, fish, explore, or visit nearby attractions in Shepherdstown, Sharpsburg, & Harper's Ferry. Two kayaks, a canoe, paddles, & lifejackets are available for your use. All water activities are at your own risk. WV DNR requires all boaters to have a lifejacket and all boats to have a whistle. Please bring your own whistle(s). MD or WV fishing license is fine.

The Canal House at Taylors Landing. We are in the countryside, bordering the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Historic National Park, 2 miles from the Civil War's Antietam Battlefield. Our home is an original 1790 log cabin with 1857 additions, also features modern amenities, including a chef's kitchen. Multiple outdoor venues, extensive grounds and amazing views of a 4-seasons garden, the C&O Canal National Park, and the Potomac river. Enjoy a creative retreat, nature, history, adventure, romance.

Lower unit of a 2 unit house (shared sunroom, hot tub, decks, grill, & kayaks) w/ a retro GE kitchen, living room w/ a daybed with 2 real twin mattresses, dining room w/ seating for 6, 2 queen bedrooms & a bathroom w/ an easy step in shower! No dock/steps to river, but a weed whacked path. Early checkin/ late checkout will not be considered until the day prior to arrival/departure. 2 night min weekends & holidays. We’re next door if you need anything.

Cozy West Virginia Treehouse

Thanks for checking out our treehouse! It’s 4 minutes from downtown Shepherdstown and 15 minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry. We are excited to share it with other fun-loving folks! The treehouse has heat and AC, a tiny kitchen with a mini fridge, stove top, toaster oven, gravity-fed sink and kitchenware. There’s a bathhouse built on the back of the host’s home with a conventional toilet and shower. There’s also an outhouse with a light and essentials. We provide wood for the fire pit also.

Nestled atop a knoll with breathtaking views of rolling hills, pastures and beautiful South Mountain, our farm is your peaceful home away from home. Swing on the wrap around porch, or enjoy dinner on our 800 sq ft back patio. If adventure is more your thing, you will enjoy the walking trails, creeks and ponds. Guests will have exclusive access to the farmhouse and surrounding 2 acres. The remaining 27 acres is a working farm, with seasonal farm activity. Guests may explore the whole farm.

Enjoy 150 feet of shoreline with a large landscaped expanse of grass perfect for play, picnics, or just shady naps. This riverfront area is exclusively for you and guests at our cabin on Knott Road. A rocky peninsula extends your riverfront another 100 feet into the Potomac. The large deck and stone patio features a variety of seating options and gas grill.
