The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The place was immaculate! We booked on short notice and arrived with everything taken care off. We were there in the “off season” must only get better “in season”.

Six lifelong friends used this lovely home for a reunion, locally. It suited our needs perfectly. Having a downstairs bedroom and a full bath was helpful for one of us with mobility issues. House was clean and roomy. Host was communicative and responsive. Could not ask for much more. Would return!

Without a doubt this was the BEST stay we've ever had. Every inch was spotless, the views were gorgeous and it felt like we were the first guests to stay in the cabin. You can see the attention and love they put into the cabin and making their guests feel at home. Jessica and Brandon were very responsive and also guided us to the best pizza we've ever had. Neither of us would think twice about staying again and hopefully we will!

We stayed at Jon's place for our snowmobile trip. Jon was extremely helpful with letting us know the local restaurants and where to ride. He went over and above trying to help us plan our daily rides. The BBQ was also put away for the winter but once asked about it, he got it out for us without hesitation. The cottage itself is nice homey place with a wood stove and separate games room where everyone can hang out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It’s the perfect getaway—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us has to be the sunsets. We've traveled to many places, but nothing compares to the breathtaking sunsets here. The view is simply magical, with the sky painted in the most vibrant hues. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the porch has become our favorite part of each day. We can't recommend this place enough !

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

The house was perfect! Seems to be an all season location. Fantastic access to Hamilton and Colgate. Also great location for discovering restaurants and activities beyond Hamilton. Can’t wait to visit again!

Thanks Douglas for the perfect cottage. The cottage is right on the lake Ontario and is huge. Its suitable for large groups. Garden is spacious, home was very neat & clean and perfect sunrise views. The deck can accommodate 15+ people for barbeque evenings. The dark skies are perfect for celestial viewing. We will recommend this for vacations.

He went above and beyond for our family and made us feel like we were home away from home.
