Little Bear Studio/Den is part of a house located at Little Bear Farm, an 8 acre private property with a large yard and field for romping with a dog, sledding, or walking around our pond and fields. Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. We have a new Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster in town that is fun for all ages. I’m always happy to help navigate activities, hikes, restaurants, etc. for you anytime.

Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mtn, Blue Ridge Parkway, ASU, local breweries, hiking, skiing, kayaking, tubing near by. Wilkesboro Speedway 45 minute drive and FireRock Station is less than 2 miles from the apartment. Jung Tao School 2 miles away. Historical Mast General Store 10 minutes away.

There is a gorgeous view from the deck where visitors are welcome to relax. The guest space is a suite (entire floor) with two br (1 full, 1 twin), a kitchenette (in single room) and a full bath. Parking at top of paved drive may be necessary for rear-wheel drive cars during inclement weather.
