Spacious studio with direct access to the beach and uninterupted views of the bay and Holy Isle (no traffic). The studio is within a secluded end of the road seafront bungalow and has a king-sized bed with optional third bed. It's a nice hideaway for a couple, friends or young family. Local cafes, hotels and shops are a 15 min walk. Perfect for walkers, cyclists & birders. Your host is a Scottish marine campaigner who helped set up the Arran Marine Protected Area and has good tips for visitors.

Great location with street parking available at property and nearby to all transport links. Beach is minutes walk away, also minutes walk to Ayr town centre, shops, bars, restaurants and Ayr Racecourse. Perfect base for those without a car as walking distance to centre. 7 miles from Royal Troon golfcourse and 15 miles to Turnberry.

Ashcraig, Lochranza, Isle of Arran

Twin bedroom, sitting area, breakfast area and shower. Stunning views of Lochranza Bay. Please note 0.3mile up a rough hill track, parking at foot of track. Close to Arran Coastal Way and Lochranza - Claonaig ferry. Bus stop 0.8mile. Mini fridge, microwave, plug-in single hob, kettle, toaster. Breakfast provided; cereals, tea, ground coffee, bread, butter, milk, conserves. Gluten free/vegan if requested in advance. Attached to owners' home and artist's studio. We are next door for help/advice.

Wee Apple Tree

Self-contained private annex with lounge/small food prep area and separate bedroom wirh en suite/electric shower and walk-in cupboard. Lounge has ethernet/ WiFi and 43” 4K Smart TV with Netflix. Coffee machine/milk frother, fridge, microwave, toaster, portable hob and kettle. Tea/coffee, porridge and cereal provided. Snacks left on arrival - pastry/ biscuits, fruit and dairy items. Private entrance/keylock garden/patio. On longer stays washing/drying of small amounts of clothing.

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Private Entry Own Bathroom (Room 1) West End

This B-listed townhouse annexe has its own entrance, private bathroom. It is fresh, clean, uncluttered, well equipped and cosy. Located in a great spot, with the Botanic Gardens, University of Glasgow, Byres Road, Great Western Road, Hillhead subway etc. within easy walking distance. The area is quiet and leafy yet minutes from all the lovely bars and restaurants of the west end. NB: IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES PLEASE CHECK DETAILS CAREFULLY SINCE THERE ARE STEEP STEPS TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY.

Stunning Edinburgh 1820s stables converted studio

The Green sits within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. Soak in the views, breathe in fresh air & relax. Studio is bright and airy and modern with stunning views of Ben Lomond and National Park. The sunsets are incredible. A perfect retreat and is a wonderful base for exploring all the area has to offer. Most of our visitors wish they had stayed for longer. Come with time to relax and enjoy the surroundings and bring some food to accompany the chilled bubbly waiting for you. You will not be short of choice for things to do in the area!

Lovely Guest Suite in Central Edinburgh

Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.
