We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

Can’t recommend Don’s apartment enough if you’re visiting Colombo/Negombo. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything you needed. Don himself was very helpful and always quick to reply. Beautiful setting, with the swimming pool and gym facilities on the roof - again, very clean and peaceful. Whilst the apartment is outside of the busy cities, there’s plenty of shops close and Uber/ Pick me also operate in the area- with prices to Colombo and Negobo between £2 to £5. Thanks Don!

A very peaceful getaway, lots of space to relax and use of both pools without other guests. Sharmila was very responsive and helpful during the booking process, and Sunil was on site when we arrived to guide us to the villa and help us settle in. Highly recommend this place, it’s good value for money for the amenities offered and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We liked being able to be fully self catering and as there were no other guests it was extremely private. Thanks and we are looking forward to coming back!

Vi boede her kun en enkelt nat inden vi skulle i lufthavnen. Det var en fantastisk oplevelse. Et utroligt hyggeligt sted og alt var så lækkert. Personalet var ekstraordinært imødekommende og helt fantastisk utroligt søde. Vi vil helt sikkert gerne bo her igen og så vil vil bruge længere tid. En dag var alt for kort.

Amazing host!!! I never visited such a great place !! We enjoyed the stay. Host arranged even dinner for us due to late night arrival though it was not listed. I definitely visit this property with Family. Thank you host for your wonderful care during our stay !!!

Great place to stay if you want to be immersed in local life and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful. It was close to several eateries. I went into Colombo and there were two bus stops within walking distance. It took a bit over an hour to go to Colombo fort via bus or about a 35/45min tuk tuk ride. I didn't mind it being far away. It's very close to the airport. The accommodation is incredibly spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony where I would eat some of my meals.

I had an incredible stay at Madura’s place. The host was absolutely wonderful, friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations for nearby places to visit. Thanks to them, I got to experience some amazing local spots I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The location itself was stunning, with scenic views that made every morning and evening feel like a postcard moment. To make things even better, the neighbor was incredibly kind and offered delicious home-cooked meals at a very affordable price. It was such a lovely touch of local hospitality. There was also a tuk-tuk service provided by the neighbor, and the driver was super friendly and reliable, perfect for getting around easily and enjoying the area to the fullest. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and beautiful experience.

I experienced a excellent stay at Sudam's place. Sudam was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was nice, clean, and well-maintained. It was equipped with every essential item, including a washing machine, refrigerator, gas cooker, TV, water dispenser, clothes rack, hair dryer. Everything was properly cleaned and well-maintained. I reached well past midnight and Sudam was there to welcome me to ensure my stay is comfortable. Sidam also allowed me to checkout a bit late as my flight was late at night, which was very helpful. This place is just walkable distance from Colombo-Kaduwela main road and Thalehene bus stop. I used public transport for most of my visits to Colombo, so it was very conformatable to me. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets are available just in walking distance. I would highly recommended for everyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Baththaramulla-Thalahena area.
