The house is situated between two picturesque villages of Batheaston and Bathford on the eastern outskirts of Bath. It is in the perfect location to explore the stunning City of Bath. And enjoy wonderful local walks in the surrounding countryside which is within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bath is only a 10-15min drive. The Nest is situated in the delightful, picturesque village of Bathford 4 miles outside Bath. The cottage has been recently renovated providing country chic with modern facilities, including a new bathroom and kitchen. A regular bus service runs from the village to Bath, and a pub, shop and cafe are just a few minutes' walk away.

Made from locally grown and sawn larchwood and largely fitted out from locally reclaimed timber All electric is solar generated and all water is filtered ground water, (tested crystal clear by wessex laboratories). Compost from the toilet is used for tree planting on site. She is ideally suited for single travellers or couples and couples with children.

SELF CONTAINED STUDIO ACCOMMODATION

Self contained studio accommodation in the picturesque village of Bathford with easy access both to city life in Bath and to delightful surrounding countryside. Secluded, private, away from main roads but with good access to public transport. Free on-street parking. When the forecourt in front of the studio is free you are also welcome to park there .The short , narrow drive from the street entrance to the studio is suitable only for small cars and at your own risk.

Converted Barn, rural setting, on the edge of bath

Bailbrook lane, has a rural feel and yet is right on the edge of the World Heritage site of Bath on the southern slopes of Solosbury Hill. The Barn is a traditional stone built, recently, sympathetically converted grain store. It has its own entrance , parking and private paved outdoor yard space to sit out in and other than handing the key over and giving it back, barring any help and advice guests might need, you will be left to your own devices!

Doctors surgery, pharmacy, deli/cafe and shop, providing basic provisions, 5 min walk from the house.
