Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

Pet friendly apartment a short stroll to beach, cafes, bakery, dining. Self-contained private downstairs apartment with its own entrance. Opposite Owen's Walkway and the Duck Pond beach track which is an easy 600mtr stroll to the sand at Redhead beach. A perfect getaway with a kitchenette, (kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer), queen bed, lounge, smart tv (Netflix), dining table, spacious bathroom, free parking. Max 2 adults, 1 medium or 2 small dogs. Nil Airbnb service fee charged.

Palm Cottage

Do you need a place to relax and unwind? In a quiet location with a garden outlook? Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. An incredibly peaceful, calm cottage just meters from the waterfront of beautiful Lake Macquarie. Luxurious modern bathroom, state of the art kitchen, and everything you will ever want for a relaxing, rejuvenating private break. Please be aware your luggage needs to be carried from your car park at the top of the hill, down approximately a 100m grassed hill, then back up again. If you have an injury or you have limited mobility you will struggle with access

Fully self contained studio with private entrance. Suitable for couples, solo or business travellers. The studio is 15 minutes walk to the lake and pedestrian cycleway. Coles shopping centre, boutiques, banks, post office, newsagent, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, hotel and bowling club are nearby. By car it’s a 20 minute drive to Newcastle, Merewether and Nobbys beach. The closest major shopping centres are Mt Hutton, Charlestown and Kotara.

"On Point" is your point for relaxation and tranquility. It is also the perfect stopover en route, as it is handy to the motorway. Your self-contained, fully furnished private studio can accommodate 2 guests on the ground floor of our residence, with separate front access. The studio has a bed/living area, kitchenette and separate bathroom. Car parking for 1 car is available at your front door on the property.

Waves at Second Creek: 1 Bedroom Guesthouse

Freshly renovated beach house across the road from Second Creek at Redhead Beach. Close to shops, surf club, bowling club and restaurants. Open plan living space, flowing out onto an outdoor deck and fire pit. BBQ available for use including BBQ tools, spray oil and paper towel. Also available on request is the use soft top surfboard and a stand-up paddle board for when the surf is flat. Contactless check-in.

This spacious, modern and well equipped studio suite is conveniently located in the quiet north east corner of Lake Macquarie, just three minutes stroll from the lakeside. The space comprises the entire lower floor of the property, with private entrance and parking accessible from the rear. Internet connection is excellent as we have fibre to the home connected.
