Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

We had a wonderful stay at The Granary. The setting is exceptional and you feel like you’re in a historic hamlet in the middle of beautiful, peaceful countryside. The hosts were great, leaving us to our own devices but on hand and responsive if needed. The Granary has been expertly restored as have the other historical buildings on site and the grounds are beautifully presented. We had everything we needed in the property. We would highly recommend booking a stay. Don’t forget your swim wear - the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic!

We had a wonderful week at Easter at Cooden Cottage. Ella was amazing and even helped us find a lost dog! The house is spotless, and beyond our expectations. The flow of the downstairs through to an amazing kitchen, conservatory and completely fenced garden was perfect for us and our two large dogs and we had several family get togethers in the garden, surrounded by greenery. The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent with plenty is space. We met Ella twice and it is clear that she is passionate about giving her guests a really special experience, from thoughtful touches to all rooms to a lovely welcome pack. While there, she wants her guests to feel that it is space and she completely achieved that. We felt at home and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Beautiful house for a relaxing getaway within walking distance of the town. The bedrooms were lovely and the best areas were the living room and dining rooms which were beautiful for hosting dinner. The kitchen was stunning and fully stocked, with the hosts leaving thoughtful touches around the house. The hot tub was great and the garden huge, would be great for in the summer. An overall excellent stay!

We had a lovely stay for our mini moon with our dog. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful with everything we needed. The hot tub was on and ready for when we got there and we were even given fresh bread and eggs for breakfast. Even though the owners lived right next door we were left to enjoy our stay with no disruptions. The location was ideal with amazing walks nearby and plenty of pubs within a short distance. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. Thank you so much for having us.

We stayed at Badger’s Den for the bank holiday weekend. What a great place! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the pool and spa facilities are fantastic and the cottage itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. The location is peaceful and away from everything but you are close enough to the town if you need anything. Chris is a great host and couldn’t be more helpful, on hand with great recommendations to spend the weekend. We will definitely be back again

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

My partner and I had a lovely time at Tom Thumb's Cottage! The cottage is quaint and cosy, with so much character. The place was spotless, in a great location (2 minutes away from the seafront), and Abraham and Joseph were so friendly and helpful. It was just right for the two of us for a weekend getaway.

An absolutely perfect spot for a peaceful few nights and an ideal base for visiting the wonderful gardens in the area. The cottage was cosy and well appointed with two very spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a lovely sitting out area. Esme was helpful and quick to respond. I would wholeheartedly recommend Birchford Cottage.

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

Such a lovely cottage, so quaint & peaceful. Sadly we only stayed for one night but it was lovely & had everything we needed. Lynda was very helpful & such a nice lady x

Beautiful chocolate-box cottage I've admired for years! Very comfortable, great amenities, near the Downs for walking or easy drives to nearby Lewes, Eastbourne, Brighton or surrounding villages. Or, like me, you could just relax and enjoy the cosy cottage itself!

Fab weekend at Romy’s! The accommodation is lovely and well equipped with all you need. The setting is idyllic!! Enjoyed mornings and evenings sitting outside overlooking stunning countryside views in a very peaceful location. Lots of nice pubs and walks, with plenty of information provided. Romy was very nice and made me and my children feel very welcome. Wonderful host, always responsive and makes you feel right at home. A must for a countryside getaway!

4 night stay at Joys place and loved every minute. Lambs in the rear field, great gardens, log burner and pub 100 meters away !!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

A cozy cottage near the stunning South Downs and Sussex coast. Our five-year-old had a very comfy stay, and we were just as comfortable. The location is perfect, with lots to see and do nearby — from countryside walks to charming villages. Katie was an excellent host, incredibly helpful and provided us with some wonderful local recommendations. A wonderful spot for both relaxing and exploring ⸻ Would you like a few alternatives for slightly different tones (like a bit warmer or even more polished)?

We had a wonderful stay at the Potting Cottage in Hastings Old Town. Upon arrival there was some fresh baked bread , apple juice and eggs on the kitchen table. Fresh Milk in the fridge and plenty of tea and coffee. They property is lovely and clean with a rustic charm. The bedroom was very cosy and the bathroom spotlessly clean with a great modern shower. There are so many little lovely touches everywhere and Helen clearly knows how to look after her Guests and was very responsive and proactive to any enquiries. The photo graphs don't really do it justice and its bigger than it looks , especially the bedroom. Both TVs have a built in DVD player with a selection to choose from to suit different tastes. There is a even a small remote control to shut the Velux window blind on the roof in the bedroom which I thought was just an other perfect little touch. We travel to Hastings occasionally and I will definitely be staying again.

This is a spacious and charming annexe to a beautiful property, set in peaceful and extensive grounds, yet only a few minutes from Rye. It is immaculate and very comfortable . Everything you need is provided and the unexpected extras such as bread, butter, milk,tea, fruit and biscuits were really welcome after a long journey. The annexe has its own enclosed outside area where you can relax outside and look at the lovely garden . Brenda is a very kind and friendly host ,who was happy to let us wander the grounds to exercise our dog in the field and her dog Peppi often joined us. It is dog heaven and dog secure . We loved our stay here !

A peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings, the Brickhouse is characterful and full of unique features. This was exactly what we needed and everything was as described. Alice and Hugh were lovely and communication was always speedy. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to escape to the country.

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

Lovely cottage. Very spacious. Nicely furnished. Good WiFi. The courtyard is a nice suntrap and was a secure place for our Yorkshire terrier to potter around. Jane could not have been more helpful. Will definitely visit again. Rye is a beautiful town. Very dog friendly. Enjoyed good wine and a splendid Ribeye steak at The George Inn.

We felt so lucky to find somewhere affordable and which added so much to our trip instead of just enabling it. The orchard Infront of the house was in blossom when we stayed but would be a delightful space all year round. The space felt private and the birdsong was a wonderful slow wake up call. Thank you so much, we'd love to return when possible.

Beautiful country house with some incredible views, very warm and welcoming, felt at home instantly. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful with lots of country walks and a visit to Rye which is close by.
