Thyme Cottage

Thyme Cottage is situated within the walled garden and sleeps 6 in one ensuite double bedroom and two twin rooms with a separate bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and open plan making it a great social spot for friends and family. The French doors at the end of the cottage lead to the terrace area extending your space for eating, drinking and enjoying the garden. The cottage is dog friendly with a surcharge of £45 per pet. There is ample parking available in the carpark next to the garden.

Beachy Head, Birling Gap, Alfriston & Eastbourne are all within reach. The Eight Bells Gastro Pub is a 1 minute walk away. At the start of a private country track with free parking and with Polegate Station and trains to London in less than 90 minutes, just a short taxi ride away.

Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.
