This farm is 35 mins from Adelaide and only 10 mins drive to shops or local eateries. We invite you to experience life on a working farm.

Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Adelaide Hills Country Paradise

Feel your stresses fall away as you relax into this gorgeous location with views over rolling hills all the way down to Lake Alexandrina. This is a truly beautiful and private location situated on a 167 acre working beef cattle farm. Pour yourself a glass of beautiful local Adelaide Hills wine and gaze over the rolling hills, perhaps with the Murray Grey cattle right in front of the house (depending on paddock rotations). The local resident Kangaroos will likely hop past to say hello too!

( within fire ban season, please note fire ban runs from November 1st 2025- April 30th 2026 ) We have the beautiful Strathalbyn golf course 2 minutes drive, feel free to borrow the golf clubs and have a hit of golf.

A cosy, curated cottage with a rustic vibe, Ode to the Orchard is surrounded by the Adelaide Hills’ finest wineries and sits high on 16 acres. It is one of the original stone homes of the area and enjoys stunning 360 degree views of picturesque Lenswood. There is no better place to relax: soak in the gorgeous claw-foot bath looking out to the stars, enjoy that glass of local red by the fire, or try out our apple crumble recipe in the vintage wood-fired Aga.

We would love to welcome you to our picturesque cottage, surrounded by vineyards, in the Langhorne Creek wine region, situated 3km from the town centre. Charming, recently renovated cottage, with three bedrooms and spacious living area. Newly renovated bathroom with laundry facilities, and kitchen with all important Nespresso machine. Enjoy a relaxed lunch on the verandah, with views of the surrounding vineyards, or head to lunch at a nearby winery.
