Wonderful, wonderful spot in Bakoven. We had an amazing beach mostly to ourselves any time we were up for the 3-minute walk, and the kids played on the boulders and explored tidal pools there for hours. Lovely house for our family to unwind after a long few months.

What a wonderful 10/10 experience this has been! Arrived here on new years, spent an entire month here and ended up booking an extra week. I don't want to leave this place at all. If you are looking for an AirBnB gem, this is it. Besides the fact that this house looks like something straight out of Architectural Digest, it also feels equally amazing to be here. Ronell & Ghe made me feel like I was staying at the house of my long lost friends. From taking me on hikes, drinks, and having braai's together - they elevated my SA experience completely in the best way possible. I felt super safe as a solo female traveler, and felt extra loved by Sila&Bo, the cutest dogs who made this stay even more special. Ronell & Ghe really made me feel right at home. This was my first time in SA all and I gained two new south african friends, and hopefully one day: neighbours! Baaie dankie for one of the best experiences I could have dreamed of. I will be back <3

We had the best stay at Irene's place! She was just the sweetest and most helpful host ever. Cozy, beautifully decorated, spacious and great location - what more do you need? Thank you once again for having us Irene!

Ken is an excellent host. He was in touch and friendly. I didn’t see him face to face but it was so warm that it felt like we know each other from a while ago. He added gifts that he didn’t have to do. He is a hands on host and it explains why his portfolio is growing. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Jay & Phil’s. Very conveniently located. Jay & Phil are wonderful hosts. I’d most definitely recommend the stay!

I had a lovely stay at Shimone’s place, even though it was just for one night. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Shimone was a great host—friendly, welcoming, and very responsive. You can tell she puts effort into making her guests feel at home. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Thanks again, Shimone!

We had very nice two weeks with my family in Sam’s place. Sam and his stuff members were frendly and within reach. The appartment is beautiful, well-equipped and special thanks for the comfy beds. The area is busy but feels safe. We were able to let our teenagers (13 and 19yo) to go for icecreams by themselves. There are great restaurants, nice boutiques, just few steps to grocery stores and couple of blocks to the beach. As Sam has mentioned in Airbnb , the area is very vibrant. There’s quite a lot of noise in the evenings. We recommend good earblugs especially for the weekend nights if you normally live in a quiet area like us. Getting around the Cape Town and surroundings was easy from Sam’s place as Ubers were normally a minute away and very cheap. Thanks a lot Sam for offering us so nice and homelike accomodation for our vacation.

My overall experience was good. The host was always reachable. Friendly staff who helped courier my belt that I had mistakenly left. Sweet😊 There’s a R75.00 fee that you pay upon check in that wasn’t mentioned. I also expected to find a bath tub as well for that amount. It was difficult to shower with my child.
