Therese and Jim were awesome hosts and their property was amazing. Everything was as expected and our time there was awesome. Highly recommend this for any large group.

Thank you so much Jamie for such a comfortable stay. It was the perfect option for us to spend time with our family down the road while still having space for ourselves. The house was really comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and pantry items to make our stay easy. The hot tub was fantastic, even in -13C weather. Also the use of the washer and dryer was convenient during our week long stay. Jamie was very responsive to any queries that we had and we’d thoroughly recommend staying here. Watching the snow fall through the trees was magical.

The cottage was a little tight for 6 adults, but having the super cute bunkie for us two "elders" made it very comfortable. It's also rustic, rather than high end, just as a cottage should be. Appreciated the Brita, but the tap water is very drinkable. Two fridges also appreciated!! The deck and property are large with space for frisbee and ball tossing. I put up my hammock! And the fire pit! More than enough chairs in a comfy shaded part of the yard, plus easy to buy firewood along the highway. It's a quiet, pleasant neighborhood, easy access to the beach as long as you can handle stairs. The beach is a little rocky but some of us wore water shoes. Lake Huron is wonderful no matter what. If you want sand, take a day trip to Grand Bend. Nuria and Sandra were very good at communicating and we have nothing but good things to say. Hope to return next year!!

What a wonderful weekend getaway! Could not have asked for a more perfect place for my fiancée and I to spend some peaceful time in nature. Elizabeth and her husband Scott were wonderful friendly hosts, they made us feel right and home and had great stories to share about the area and their beautiful property. The bunk house was the perfect spot along the river nestled in the cedar forest. Enjoyed the trails, the canoe and the fire pit views. Great trip into Goderich where we checked out some antique shops and local stores. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we hope to see you again!

I read some bad reviews before I booked. I don't know how anyone found an issue with this place. It's a cabin in a farm beside a river. Very cosy. Very private. Very peaceful. Enough space. Indoor fire, comfy bed, comfy couch, coffee maker, electricity and a toilet. It's exactly what it says on the tin. Even though it rained most of the weekend, it was still great. I managed to light a fire outside the first night. Can't wait to go back again either in the summer or the height of the winter snow. I'm sure both are picturesque. Bernice was easy to communicate with.

Shelly's place was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived and the wood burning stove kept us toasty for our whole stay. The bed was super comfortable and we loved exploring the surrounding woods with our dogs. It was so nice to be able to relax and unwind in the quiet woods, and yet be near Goderich to explore the multitude of locally owned shops and restaurants. We're looking forward to returning here in the future!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely place! Even though the weather was not on our side, I really enjoyed just being at the cottage. It was very peaceful to chill inside or outside in the sun and by the fire pit at night. My dog made herself right at home! I also enjoyed walking the neighbourhood with my pup where we were kindly greeted by others in the area. During our stay we checked out Grand Bend and the nearby beach in port franks. I was amazed at how nice and clean they were. Would definitely want to stay here again!

Excellent location steps from the beach, golf, and restaurants. Yard was well suited for our BBQ with a lot of table space available. The front porch is legendary for taking in the neighbourhood. We had plenty of space inside for guests. Eric has very good instructions available that kept our stay stress free.

My woman and I had a great stay at this location. When we first arrived we were given the wrong instructions by accident, but it was quickly resolved and we were given a bigger unit to accomodate for the error which was greatly appreciated! Sal made it super easy for us and got us situated. Room was clean and neat and accessing the TV was convenient and easy to follow as well, not to mention wifi as well wasn't slow or anything annoying to deal with. Would visit again and recommend the stay to other visitors passing by!

We had such a beautiful stay at Becky’s cabin! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner, including a hot plate which was a nice surprise! The bed and pillows were very comfy. We also loved relaxing in the sauna. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day to walk on the trail into town. Becky was responsive and very accommodating! We would love to return for a longer stay!

We went for a weekend getaway. The experience was what we expected it to be. It was surrounded by the woods, we got to light our own fire in the pit, roasted a few things. However, due to light rains had to wrap it up a little early (can't do anything about it), still thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen is equipped to prepare some basic stuff, and an outdoor BBQ for some heavy cooking (if weather permits). We were welcomed by the hosts and their two cute dogs. Expect that there will be other dogs around, as this is a pet friendly place. We made our own fire in the fire pit and room heater, there was plenty of wood, and tools to prepare kindling. We didn't need the room heater in fall season. My only feedback would be for washroom. Sometimes the smell can creep in the yurt if the flap in the toilet doesn't close correctly. Overall I would highly recommend the place, it was as it is put in the description.

Becky, thanks so much for the great extension to our long weekend! We were able to book a last second stay with all 3 cabins over Easter weekend. It worked out extremely well to have my parents there, but in there own cabin. Everyone was able to enjoy time together around the campfire, and having a bbq together, but still enjoy their own personal space at night. The property is great. Tucked in with plenty of space, good parking, and the trail right beside us, perfect! We hope to come back this summer, when the weather is a bit warmer, and the trail is a bit dryer and bring our bikes. We didn't go to Cowbell this time, but we have been in the past, and it is worth the visit. This is a great kick off point to explore Blyth and Goderich, beautiful sunsets over Huron, people should check it out! Highly recommend renting the 3 cabins together with friends or family!

We had the most relaxing weekend staying at Milena and Johnny’s place. They were super flexible with arrival time and even greeted us at our car and took our luggage to the A-frame. We spent the weekend doing nothing but relaxing by the wood fire and in the sauna. The perfect place for a technology detox and to reconnect with your partner.

Lovely space. Clean, cozy, and peaceful. The cabin was very well layed out with great instructions and necessities. The bed very comfy and we loved having the sauna! Becky was very kind and the instructions were very easy to follow!

Eric's place was in a fabulous location, minutes from the beach. Eric responded in a timely manner to any of my questions. The place was clean and cozy!
