We absolutely loved our experience at Frank’s Winthrop basement apartment! Exceptionally good value for the beautiful area, comfy beds & a very easy to use TV for the rainy nights :) The one thing that would have really improved this place for me personally is enhanced privacy. I would have loved to have our basement apartment door lock from the outside. I didn’t feel unsafe by any means because our entrance was locked and had a keypad we shared with the hosts but would have loved to be able to lock the apartment up while we were exploring MA. A separate entrance for guests would have been awesome too but I recognize that is a tough ask renovation wise. My husband was not bothered by it at all but once I mentioned it, he agreed.

Staying in this guest house was really great for me, my wife and our two small dogs. The front of the home overlooks are beautiful marsh. The area is very peaceful, and it's next-door to a quaint little park, and a few minutes walk to a private beach.

We live semi-locally (about 45 min away) but needed to be out of our house for a week while work was being done. We had specific needs because of my elderly mother and our dog - first floor bedroom, first floor bathroom with shower, within an hour from our home (so I could go back and forth), and accepting of pets. Bonus points - a desk to work from, and a comfortable home with all the amenities you'd need for a week. That's exactly what we got - which made the week that much less stressful. And how can you be stressed with the views from the upstairs bedrooms, and beautiful Scituate and Cohasset within minutes?! Hosts were helpful and responsive the whole time. Hopefully I won't need to stay again, but would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in the area.

Great cozy apartment style airbnb with an ocean view. This was very relaxing and convenient to walkable restaurants. We appreciate Ryan accommodating some of our requests too. Highly recommend.

We were so lucky to get to stay at Lisa's when we were relocating to the area for my spouse's job. Even in January and February, the location was exceptional. Easily walk to the beach, boardwalk, arcade, and beach pizza! So close to Newburyport and Plum Island and we took weekend trips to Vermont and Maine. Comfortable beds, warm water, and room to spread out as a family with plenty of beds. Communication was easy and considerate, and Lisa was so helpful with local recommendations. Easy check-in and great kitchen!! Thank you so much Lisa!!

Stayed here with a few of my friends for a wedding and the place was perfect! Really close to the Barker House wedding venue, walkable to downtown Scituate. Beds were very comfy and the place was very clean. Overall, a great stay!

Our stay at this lovely Scituate Coastal Retreat was fabulous. The house was immaculately clean and the decor was perfection. The common areas were cozy, but spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with any tools/utensils we needed. Beds were comfortable and our party of 4 adults had plenty of room. The hosts left great suggestions for local dining and the house was only a 2 min drive (15min walk) to downtown Front St restaurants and shopping. Host Andrew was very responsive and wonderfully accommodating, allowing for a later check-out when requested. We were staying in the Winter, so perhsps check out time may not be as flexible in the warmer months. Check-in & check-out was a breeze! We hope to rent this property again. We enjoyed our stay in Chris' bungalow. It was just as described and clean! The kitchen is well stocked save for condiments ie salt, pepper etc. So plan to bring those type of items if you are cooking in. Chris was VERY responsive to our messages, even when we couldn't find the tv remote, offering several solutions. All in all we had a great stay and would certainly return.
