Our cabin sits above Lake Eildon. Mornings are still, often wrapped in mist, before light rolls across the water. Inside, soft bedding and a warm shower slow everything down. Outside, the plunge pool wakes you, then the sun beds take over. Mount Buller is 50 minutes away. Ski the day, return to quiet, warmth and your own space. This holiday home is a 2 storey 5 BR property with Lake Eildon frontage. The lake is accessed from the front of the property when the water level is up. Ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking or boat mooring. The house is set on 2 acres with wildlife. This a cosy 70s style holiday house with a new kitchen, living area, bathrm, toilet and 2 bedrooms upstairs. With a more modern extension downstairs we have 3 more b/rms, another living area with pool table plus the 2nd bathrm, toilet and laundry.

High country hikes, horse and motorcycling all year round. Note Mar 26: water levels sub 50% so no longer water view from the house.

Riverfront + Kayaks, Hot Tub, Sauna + Fire pit

In summer, float down the river in a blow-up tube and on cool nights put your feet up by the wood fire or have a sauna by the river. THIS IS A 2 BEDROOM house which sleeps 6ppl (Entire home). An EXTRA 4 ppl can be accommodated externally to the main house. The A frame hut sleeps two (unheated). An additional 2pp riverside bungalow room with french doors and it’s own deck by the river. Book for 8 people to unlock all rooms. No pets, no parties or camping. Quite after 12am.

Howqua in the High Country

This home is situated in close proximity to Eildon. The floor to ceiling windows and large deck offer majestic views of the Lake and the surrounding mountains. The house is a perfect set up for a large family or group. The home has six bedrooms, with eight beds spread over two levels with three upstairs and three downstairs. Each level is seperate to the other. Each level has its own fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and numerous cooking utensils and equipment.
