The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a cosy cabin in the lush green hills and beautiful vistas of the Hawkesbury region north-west of Sydney. The cabin is built on the side of a hill and looks directly into a small forest of eucalypts - perfect for trying to spot one of our regular koala visitors. It is 200m past the main house on the property, and completely private. Curl up with a book, feed a donkey, pour a wine, cuddle a corgi, or sit on the deck take in the country. It is a million miles from care.

Nestled on a large bush block in the lower Blue Mountains is this secluded, self-contained studio with lovely views and access to a 9-metre swimming pool. The beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park beckons, with Florabella Pass and other spectacular and often quieter bushwalks starting just at the end of our street. The studio is conveniently located for the cafés and shops of Glenbrook and Springwood, with a local store and a larger supermarket just minutes away.

Warm and cosy in winter, the studio was once a purpose-built kitchen of a house built in 1888. Separate entrance. The Bower is at the end of a cul-de-sac, with no passing traffic, making it quiet and peaceful - perfect for a relaxing break, a romantic weekend or as a base to explore the Blue Mountains. It is an easy 10 mins walk to Springwood township with its many cafes and restaurants and if you are driving, just a few minutes from the highway.

This unique Church has been restored beautifully and is a place to relax and unwind. It is close to local shops, the famous Grumpy Baker, restaurants such as the Lochiel House and an Indian Restaurant, fruit picking from January to June, Cellars doors with local apple cider and much more. Lavender House is an alpaca farm in Kurrajong. With splendid views of the Blue Mountains it is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a quieter pace of life. The cafes and coffee shops of the quaint village of Kurrajong are 5 minutes away. Your hosts live on the top floor of the large two storey home with your self contained apartment with all facilities taking up the bottom floor. The alpacas are very friendly and love to be fed by hand.
