Monika was a brilliant host, the house was as described and very clean and well appointed. Excellent location for public transport and many excellent eateries to choose from. We stayed for two weeks and felt very at home.

This was our first holiday as a family and we felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully appointed and in a superb location with lots of walks and scenery. The area was very friendly especially for children with parks and play areas and the beaches are outstanding. Local shops including restaurants and bakeries & cafés were all very welcoming and very reasonably priced. It had been a long time since we had been to Southbourne and it didn’t disappoint along with the apartment. It made a perfect staycation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who are looking to have a good UK break.

Absolutely perfect place to stay!

We stayed here as a family of four after spending the day at Paultons Park, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to settle in and relax. It felt like a calm retreat after a busy day. We also used it as a base for a day trip to Christchurch and Mudeford Beach, which was about a 35 minute drive away. The location worked really well for exploring the area while still being tucked away somewhere quiet. Hannah was friendly and easy to communicate with, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located spot to stay in the area.

A hidden gem. This was the perfect spot for exploring the nature reserves and beaches nearby. It was clean, the beds were comfy and the kitchen was tiny but remarkably well kitted out. We will definitely be back.

I rather loved my stay here in Southsea, opposite Ravelin Park, and close to so many attractions. Portsmouth Museum is just across the road, the seaside about 10 mins walk, the Historic Dockyard and gunwharf not much further. The apartment itself had all facilities and appliances anyone might want. It was clean, warm and fairly quiet, considering the busy traffic. The wifi, telly worked fine. I prefer the lockbox for the key too. All in all, quite perfect. I would happily stay there again.

Really lovely apartment in a peaceful location surrounded by lots of birds and other wildlife! Sophie gave recommendations for walks and also food in the area. We felt the space couldn’t have been better and had all the amenities needed. We recommend sitting on the outdoor seats at the back of the flat in the morning to listen to the birds. While there we heard firecrest, mistle thrush and pheasant among many many others. A lovely stay, thank you. We’ll be back!

If you are thinking about starting an Airbnb, Mary’s place is a great example of how to do things right. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and to be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. Mary was pro-active, friendly and helpful and gave me clear instructions as to how to access the place, where to park etc. I have already booked for later this year and will find myself in the same area next year; I will be back!

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

It was a lovely place, a very good wide space for everyone to enjoy the evenings in. Lovely location for our needs with a very responsive host to answer all questions we had. Will 100% recommend.

Great place to stay! Just a short drive and/or walk to everything you need. There is parking available, too. Despite being in the same building as the hosts, you don’t even notice and it is much more private than the other “flat-shares” in the area as you have your own designated space! Matt is very communicative and a great host. Would stay here again definitely!

My friends and I stayed overnight for my birthday and it was the best!!! The house is even more beautiful and spacious in person. Jude was also an amazing host and super lovely, she got me flowers, Prosecco and chocolate. It was all very sweet. The location is beautiful and she also gave us great recommendations! The flat was very clean and had everything we needed to make our 4 week last-minute stay nice and easy. Lukman was very helpful and communicative to anything we needed (not that we needed anything!). The flat was very clean and a great place to be for working and relaxing. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Thank you, Tina and Johnny for graciously sharing your stunning studio, garden and river access with me for the last week! The weather was incredible and I made the most of it, swimming in the river every day and enjoying my breakfast on the sunny decking every morning before heading to my training. I've stayed at some beautiful Airbnb places over the past decade but yours was the most magical! With bats, kingfishers, swans and geese and a very territorial pheasant! Couldn't recommend your place more highly. Thank you too, for the lift from the station and then meeting me at the station with my luggage (and dry swim gear!) on my final day. One final thing for potential visitors to consider is that the fridge can be noisy during the night, so bring some earplugs or Snoozeband if you're noise sensitive like me.

We had the best holiday. Airbnb was immaculate, peaceful and well equipped. Vkki and Richard were both really friendly and made such an effort to make us feel at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

This is a beautiful apartment absolutely perfect for a couple. It’s ground floor which made it extremely accessible. All is exactly as described with the views being out of this world.

Carolyn, myself and mally the labrador had a great week , very peaceful, sitting on the patio watching the ships sail past. Bryce was very helpful, and lives on site , if a problem was to arise. The accommodation was spacious spotless and well equipped.

We stayed for the weekend, the place was very clean and spotless, we loved how easy it was to get to the beach and she was always responsive and helpful. My kids loved the chocolate eggs too
