Welcome to Titirangi -"Fringe of Heaven" in Maori. Nestled in beautiful native trees, our self-contained, freshly renovated downstairs studio is private with a separate entrance, large deck, undercover parking, kitchen (cooking facilities, fridge etc.) & bathroom. A short walk to the charming Titirangi village, with its cafes, art gallery & shops. We love sharing our home with guests & we have travelled extensively around N.Z & the world. We are happy to provide advice & help when required.

Relax and Explore in Laingholm

We live in the chilled suburb of Laingholm, just ten minutes drive from Titirangi. You will have use of the ground floor of our family home which gives you your own living room with a separate bedroom (queen size bed) and bathroom with a shower. There is a kitchenette area offering microwave, toaster, kettle and small fridge. Watch the sunrise through the bush and across the water of the Manukau harbour. You will also have private use of the front garden and Summer House while you stay.

A hidden gem situated in the Waitakere Ranges, Karekare has left many astonished by its natural structures and the peaceful charm that comes along with it. Where the black sand beach meets the tumultuous Tasman Sea , it was the location for the beach scenes for the 1993 Academy Award winning film 'The Piano' . A mighty waterfall. Captivating sunsets. Walking tracks guaranteed to be among the best Aotearoa has to offer, with diverse native flora and birdlife and impressive coastal views.

Compact, purpose-built self-contained studio in Woodlands Park Titirangi, with a deck overlooking our lovely tranquil garden. There is a king-sized bed that can be separated into twin beds. We are located perfectly for access to Auckland’s West Coast beaches and the Waitakere Regional Park with its spectacular hills and forests and delightful Titirangi Village. Central Auckland is only 25 mins drive away. The Punga studio is small, but with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

The Blackwood Guesthouse will appeal to couples looking to getaway for a night (or few) and who want to sample the food outlets that Titirangi Village has to offer.. Alternatively, soul-searchers looking for some tranquillity will revel in the luxurious marble bathroom while seeking the quiet to recharge the mind. Pull back the ranch sliders in summer and open the house to the outdoors. Relax with dinner, drinks and the setting sun on the covered outdoor deck. Underfloor heating the bathrooms provides all year comfort. It's a 5min walk down the road to the start of the beach track and then a 20min stroll through the bush down to the beach (or a 3min drive!)

A huge sunny deck makes this the perfect location for a relaxed summer stay and a woodburner makes it a cosy haven for winter. One minute walk to sheltered beach and nearby Huia Store Cafe and Waitakere trail walks, freshwater swimming holes and scenic lookouts at your doorstep and only 45 mins to Auckland central, 1 hour to the airport .

Hi Everyone, Our apartment is modern, quiet and comfortable. Set In a nice neighborhood in cool hip Titirangi. Enjoy the peacefulness and amazing nature of west Auckland and only a short drive to the bright lights of the city and Auckland airport(25-30 min by car). We supply a welcome breakfast hamper for when you first arrive as you may not want to go shopping after a long journey, this does not get replenished.
