Positioned high in the hills above Waipu Cove, we offer a tranquil and modern animal-friendly base in historic Waipu, close to the beaches and town. The perfect spot to explore sunny Northland. Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

Kapia Lodge is perched on the edge of the cliffs at Pouto, offering breathtaking views of Kaipara Harbour. Secluded and private, it's the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway. This modern guesthouse with a 5 metre stud has a large mezzanine bedroom with a super king bed and two singles, open plan living/dining/kitchen area with extensive decks and concrete floors throughout. There is an outdoor hot spa, an indoor fireplace and indoor/outdoor dining areas, set on a 1 acre property. 2 minutes drive to market, restaurants and takeaways, including the iconic Mangawhai Tavern. 10-15 minutes drive to your choice of white-sand surf beaches and world class golf courses.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

We bring you the best of both worlds with great sea views set on 3 acres of beautiful native bush just minutes from Waipu Cove. This Modern Bach has a full kitchen, lounge, cinema/games room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

This gorgeous house is built right in the boughs of the trees reconnecting you with tales like the Lord of the Rings and the Magic Faraway Tree. Take an adventure into this dreamy dwelling that's nestled in its own private stand of native trees. This quiet getaway is not far from the city, and based on our secluded 28 acre property. Breakfast items are also provided for you to prepare at your leisure.
