Escape back to nature in our idyllic, custom-built shepherd’s hut. Nestled on the hillside of a beautiful Welsh farm, the hut boasts stunning countryside views in all directions with an outlook on the Skirrid mountain. Situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, a mile from Offa’s Dyke Path, the hut is perfectly located for walking, cycling, horse-riding and more. Fully-equipped with a cosy wood stove and outdoor fire pit, our hut is a magical place to sit back and unwind.

Just 10 minutes by car from Abergavenny but a peaceful country retreat. Simple, modern log cabin with open plan sitting/kitchen/dining with double sofa bed & a double bedroom and bathroom. 50 metres behind the farmhouse, away from the road and screened by trees. There are board games, books, toys etc. Wifi available, basic CD player/radio plus CDs Garden furniture for sitting out. Homemade firepit. Farm to wander over. Animals to see. Good places to eat out. Walking in the hills.

Farm stay, in beautiful rural Monmouthshire

We are a working dairy goat farm, milking 600 goats twice a day. Our milk goes into a delicious soft goats cheese, which is made in the neighbouring town of Abergavenny and sold through many of the large supermarkets. We are ideally situated for cycling and walking, with many footpaths nearby, including Offa's Dyke and a fabulous range of mountains. We are within 2 miles of the renowned Michelin star Walnut Tree Inn and there are many other wonderful country pubs in the locality.

You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

Spring Farm’s authentic railway carriage is set in a secluded orchard with stunning panoramic views down the whole length of the Bryn Awr valley to the Brecon Beacons. In Abergavenny and set adjacent to the river Gavenny. Just three minutes walk from the centre of town, this well-appointed townhouse is ideal for the weekend break, a walking holiday in the Black Mountains, or just a relaxed stay. Two double bedrooms, a NON-TETHERED CAR CHARGER, an outdoor patio, and a dining area complete the scene. The entire apartment has been newly renovated, and enjoys wonderful views of the hills and mountains of Abergavenny. There is private parking and safe space inside to store bikes. There is a bedroom, living area, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with a walk-in shower. This is the perfect base for exploring Abergavenny and the surrounding areas. This is a stylish but small space, perfect for two.

Skylark Hut: cosy, views, meadow, bit of luxury!

This hut is super cosy, but very well equipped and spacious inside (think tardis!). Guests say it is very comfortable, and it is all fully plumbed in. Everything you need. With stunning views of the Welsh Black Mountains, it sits nestled in a calming wildflower meadow with lots of wildlife - you might wake to see deer passing your window. Sadly, not suitable for dogs, young children or infants.

Inside you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. *Gavenny Cottage no longer has a hot tub.

Hen Ty Pantygelli

Hen Ty (meaning old house) is a cosy cottage with modern comfort ( please note that the woodburner is not useable but there is full central heating) It sits in a quiet rural location and is conveniently located for walking, cycling. Four miles away is the market town of Abergavenny, which has a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops.

Located between the cycle path, canal pathway and the legendary tumbles mountain this is an ideal base for anybody looking to get outside and explore. Abergavenny Town centre is a 40 minute walk along the cycle path, 15-20 cycle and 5 minutes in a car.
