The cabin is an open space with queen bed, 1 bunk, kitchenette and lounge, with views of rolling pastures and mountains. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 1 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins. Wifi is available and limited to the area around the main house in reception, lounge and dining area.

Only a 400m walk into the main street of Buchan, enjoy a cold drink and meal at the historic Buchan Caves Hotel or grab a bite to eat at either the Roadhouse or Willow cafe. Be sure to jump on board a guided tour of the Buchan Caves or go for a walk on one of the numerous walking tracks amongst the reserve. McKillops bridge also is perfect for a day trip location 85km north.
