Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

The Loft @ Burghfield - Self Contained Annexe

The Loft @ Burghfield is a hotel style self-contained one bedroomed annexe with separate entrance, kitchenette and ensuite shower room. Located in the heart of the charming village of Burghfield Common it offers excellent links to Reading, Basingstoke, Newbury and London as well as offering woodland walks on the doorstep. Perfect for visiting relatives or whilst working at nearby AWE. Please note that the annexe is not available for "day use" and we will expect all guests to stay overnight.

Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

Beautifully restored, self-contained barn conversion. Featuring high vaulted ceilings and striking original wooden beams. Located in a peaceful rural setting the open-plan layout is thoughtfully zoned to include a cozy living area, a comfortable double bed, and a sleek, private shower room. Private access, front door leads into living area and patio doors into garden. Fully furnished, sofa bed, desk, tea, coffee making facilities, microwave, iron and free Wi-Fi. Upstairs, ensuite shower room, double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV. A door to the main house kitchen links the annex and remains locked. We do respect our guests privacy but are available if need be. A short walk from town/train stations and supermarkets, restaurants and pubs located near by.
