We are a family of five and we had a great time at this house. The kitchen was perfect with only top notch appliances. We found all we needed and more. the layout and surroundings where the cherry on top.

Had a wonderful weekend at the Tree House. It was a perfect location for me. Loved walking to the beach each morning. John & Jen are great at communicating and making sure you have everything you need. Thank you!

Tranquility Base…surely lived up to its name. So comfortable, so charming we felt like a part of the forest. The whole place had so much personality we felt right at home Magical and enchanting getaway Highly recommended We’ll be back

We had such an amazing time here, you can really tell the owners put a lot of care into making this place a home away from home. Had everything we needed and more. Coming from a three day backpacking trip in Yosemite this was a much needed break. Breakfast and relaxing on the deck in the sun by the water listening to the birds, we were even surprised by 5 or 6 deer in the front yard the last morning, it was awesome. The house was very nice, had enough space for myself and eight friends, ample towels and bedding, all the cookware and supplies you could ask for, AC and heaters, they even had three boats we used to go fishing for a few hours in the morning. The lake was awesome, the ONLY negative here is the $50 entrance fee to the Pine Mountain Lake neighborhood. They do have amenities in PML that help make that worth it and the pass is for 7 days, but we didn’t have time to go check those out, oh well. Altogether this place was unforgettable and my friends and I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin, great location, well appointed, clean. Cozy and warm, this place was perfect for our little family getaway to play in the snow. The extra touches like plenty of board games, books, little soaps, quilts, and firewood elevate the experience. Host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

The treehouse was absolutely lovely! The scenery was incredible, and the house itself is very spacious, with enough room for up to 8 people. It's super cozy and we honestly regretted not being able to stay longer. Thank you Isaac for the lovely stay!

This place was great to stay at! We loved the big kitchen, the various sleeping areas, and lovely views of the river. Even though it was cold during our stay, we loved the river access and made heavy use of the beach.

My stay at Mario and Ivette’s cabin was fantastic. Spacious, clean, cozy, fun, amazing view, quiet, responsive and accommodating hosts, just perfect. If you’re in big bear and looking for a place to stay this is it.

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

My family and I had a great time spending a relaxing weekend amongst the Idyllwild trees. The cabin aesthetic and decore was beautiful, it felt luxurious yet still had a very homey feeling. We really enjoyed the record player as our background sound while we conversated and played card games, I really really liked that touch. There are sooooo many records to chose from. The views were beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Erica was very quick to respond to any questions and very easy to communicate with. I had many friends and family asking where this cabin was wanting to book for themselves. I would definitely recommend to others. One of my favorite cabins I've stayed at.

Beautiful little treetop cabin. The place was immaculate and smelled amazing when I walked in. The host was super quick to respond to my questions prior to booking, and was always friendly. My dog loved being up amongst the canopy of trees, sniffing at squirrels and birds. The balcony isn’t completely enclosed (which I knew before booking), but something to know if you have small/roaming pups. The steps are steep & uneven (which is clearly mentioned in the description), so keep that in mind if you have an older pup with you. Loved the wood burning stove too. Was a lovely get away and would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed this excellent cabin in Portola Valley for 3 great nights. It was wonderful place to relax and recharge. Many thanks to the host for helpful information about the cabin and the surrounding area. Thanks a lot!

Staying here was such a wonderful experience! The ambience and the aesthetic of this place alone is noteworthy. The decor is eclectic, unique, and was put together by someone with a really great eye. The only things to keep in mind is that the kitchen does not have a microwave. I didn’t think to check the listing, so when we tried to heat up some food, it was a surprise and was an inconvenience. Additionally, the heating system is not centralized as it says on the amenities so it takes a while for the bedrooms to warm up. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely book it again!

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway in the cozy cabin and barely found any reason to leave even though it was so close to the heart of Idyllwild. We loved lounging by the fireplace with the great vinyl record collection playing in the background and grilling out on the deck. We definitely will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay. The outdoor space and views were even better than the photos. You could clearly see the lake in the distance, which I don’t believe was included in the description. Everything was beautiful and completely clean and spotless. We had no problems backing our large car into the driveway. There was even a dartboard to play which was a fun surprise. Before arrival Kevin provided a detailed list of instructions and how to use the amenities so we didn’t have a single question once we arrived. it’s very short drive to big bear village. There’s also newer built area where you can get donuts/sandwiches (Dunk Donuts) and coffee maybe 5 minutes drive away. Definitely one of our favorite experiences in big bear yet.

It’s a treehouse, so it's more about charm and adventure than luxury. That said, the kids absolutely loved it and had a blast! We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere—it was a lovely escape.

Cute treehouse. You will be staying in someone’s backyard, but they were respectful of us being there. Small town, so selection of food is small and everything closes early. Overall, not bad for a few days get away!

In one word…heavenly. Perched above the canopy, situated in majestic redwoods, hides the perfect getaway. Quaint, comfy, charming and peaceful. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or just relax and let your worries blow away with the breeze. Bethany is an amazing host and she has gone beyond the norm in creating a serene abode above the trees. Her attention to details and thoughtful amenities guarantees her guest’s every needs. We can’t wait to visit again.

We loved the peace and tranquility from our stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The view was spectacular. If you’re looking for a place to relax and just be in nature, this is what you’re looking for.

We had a fantastic stay at Christine’s place! The home was beautiful, clean, and full of character—exactly what we were hoping for. The surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful and made for such a relaxing getaway. We also made a quick trip to Big Trees that was just awesome.

Brian is a wonderful host. The Treehouse is spectacularly. The location is surrounded by beautiful trees, plants, flowers….easy access to magnificent sites.

The hosts were very responsive, helpful and friendly. The cabin was very nice and had pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. Getting to the location was a little confusing, had to make a u-turn up the street to get up Stonehill, but once we got the hang of it it wasn’t a big deal. Having the dog run and enclosed patio made it really easy to take our dog out for potty breaks. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had a truly amazing stay at Spencer‘s beautiful cabin treehouse. They were extremely accommodating, even letting us change our dates the night before because of a storm coming in. The cabin is cozy and has a stunning view to wake up to, fully stocked kitchen, And easy access to the amazing redwoods nearby. We even brought our dog, she had a great time too!
