Welcome to the Happy Nomad condo, your ideally located home away from home in south Kirksville. I’m proud to offer you a home that is rated in the top 1% of Air BnB properties. It is my singular goal to provide a smooth, comfortable, and stress-free stay! The condo has 3 queen beds, two full baths, 2 living spaces, washer/dryer, and off street parking that accommodates 3 vehicles, or trailer. Additionally, there is a private fenced back yard with seating, and gas grill is available seasonally.

The Ardmore Lodge & Cabin (Pool/Poker Table & Bar)

The Ardmore Lodge is a 2 building property, nestled within the historic old mining community of Ardmore. The cabin has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. The lodge has an open entertainment space with a half bathroom. You can play pool, cards, darts, poker, or just stream on the big screen. There is also an RV site with water and electric available. The property is located just 5 minutes from Highway 63 on about 3/4 of a mile of gravel. There is ample parking for trailers, boats, and many vehicles.

Cozy Log Cabin Retreat

Whether you want to relax or recharge, this cabin provides a tremendous space & cozy atmosphere. The cedar log siding and rough-cut tongue & groove pine walls were hewn in a local Amish mill. The ceiling tiles are reminiscent of turn of the 20th century square copper tiles with wooden beams. There is ample space in front of the cabin to park a truck & trailer. The Blue Heron Hut is a unique place and has a style all its own. Open entry and view of loft above. Full kitchen with appliances, granite countertops, pretty cabinets, coffee bar, and a nice dining space. Convenient pocket doors to the bathroom and the Queen master bedroom. The steps/ladder lead to the loft with both a full and a twin bed. Surprising storage space and full of charm. The outside is enjoyed from the covered front porch with rocking chairs to take in the perfect sunset!

Have a relaxing stay at this cozy and centrally-located home. You will be close to downtown Macon, MO. This home is right off Highway 63, that goes through town. It is easy to find. Two lakes, Long Branch and Macon Lake, are within a few miles. This home has a master suite and one other bedroom with the hall bathroom. In the dining there is a coffee/tea nook to give a great start to your day. A washer/dryer are in this home for convenience. We want you to feel like a home away from home!

Guests have access to 800 acres which includes a combination of native timber, wetlands, grasslands, and streams. Guests are welcome to explore the entire property. A small pond and fire pit are located a stone's throw from the front porch. The large porches provide plenty of shade and great views.

We have a basketball and tennis/pickleball rackets to use as we are directly across the street from the courts.

Situated at the end of the road in a quiet neighborhood this home is tucked out of the way but just minutes from downtown Macon and all the amenities. Close to Long Branch Lake with beautiful outdoor trails, a fresh swimming beach and great fishing opportunity. Macon is 30 minutes south of Kirksville and 1 hour north of Columbia, both great for visiting or shopping.
