The Stag Hut

The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, no oven. Its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Set in a beautiful Glen, within walking distance of local amenities: including cafes and local shop . Local hotels also serve food in the evenings if you don't feel like cooking. The quite scenic side of Loch but half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus, so lots to see and do. Visit the Falls of Foyers and access the South Loch Ness Trail. Own transport advisable.

Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Caledonian Glamping at Westward B&B offers comfortable and environmentally friendly accommodation in the Scottish Highlands. We are close to the beautiful National Nature Reserve of Glen Affric and a short drive from Loch Ness. Our eco micro-lodges have been a constructed using locally sourced timber and have turf roof. The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for brown trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.  

Charming and Unique Shepherd's Hut

A unique and beautiful Shepherd's Hut on the Black Isle. Specifically commissioned by Black Isle Brewery, the hut is in the middle of our organic brewery farm. The brewery sits on one side with organic farmland, farmhouse and vegetable patch on the other. You are 10 minutes from Inverness by car and 20 minutes from Inverness airport.
