The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

The Herdwick Hut

Breathtaking views.Inside you will find the Herdwick Hut has beautiful finishing's and incorporates a double bed a hob, sink, fridge and en-suite bathroom. The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.

Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in!
