We are located at the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula: 6 miles to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Bridge & ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. 2 miles to Northwestern State Trail. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat, tubes, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

Relax at this peaceful Carp Lake fishing community located on the shores of Paradise Lake where spectacular lake views abound (no lake access on site). Spend evenings in front of the fire pit gazing at the large amount of stars hoping to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Fill your days in the history rich environment that the Tip of the Mitt and Michigan's U.P. has to offer. Or take the day off from sight seeing and play basketball, tennis or pickleball at the park across the street.

Located just a short drive from Mackinac Island, it’s the perfect base for exploring the area. End your evening under brilliant star-filled skies and wake to a breathtaking sunrise and the sweet sound of birds.

True North Cabin

Newly remodeled one bedroom cabin located in Carp Lake. The cabin is in a residential neighborhood directly off US 31. The cabin is located 6 miles south of Mackinaw City. This property has a shared access to Paradise Lake which is located at the intersection of Wheeling Road and Paradise Trail ( about a 2 minute walk). The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

A beautiful 1700 square ft home on Paradise Lake. The home is on 2.5 acres and just 5 miles from Mackinaw City. Smart TV's in the living room and both bedrooms. A couple minute walk brings you to the sandy bottom lake which is perfect for a couples retreat or family getaway. Guest will enjoy our 60 feet of private lakefront with a 50 ft dock. This property is centrally located between many of northern Michigan’s attractions.
