It’s not sleek, modern or perfect but built with love and a desire to share our off-grid lifestyle and simple farm life. We have the most amazing, relaxing, rejuvenating, outdoor wood fired bath, to soak up nature, the stars and spend time with your loved one. Of course there are cows with long horns too.

Our charming early 1900’s renovated cottage is perfectly positioned within the beautiful character overlay of Toowoomba. Moved to this location in 1925, Edwin Cottage is filled with period charm and character. We are located 4 minutes from the city and 5 minutes from Queens Park. It is a short 9 minute drive to Gabbinbar and 13 mins to the showgrounds. We have many food options within a 1 minute walk including a bakery, Fish & Chips, Chinese, Kebabs, Cafe, Spar Express and a liquor store.

The unforgettable escape of The Chalet @ Darclo Farm rests upon the open grassy hillside, overlooks the meandering valleys towards the picturesque Mt Flinders, in the Scenic Rim. A perfect escape to the country, your very own tranquil homestead set on 50 acres nestled on a hill with breathtaking views of the scenic rim mountains. In just over an hour from Brisbane you can be relaxing on the deck enjoying a glass of wine from one of the nearby wineries, sitting around the fireplace or toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The homestead is only a 7 minute drive to Boonah township and on the same road and only a 3 minute drive to Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm.

Just a brief five-minute jaunt from the vibrant locales of Kalbar and Boonah.

Situated on a 40 acre property nestled at the base of a hill, the cabin delivers stunning views looking over the Lockyer Valley and onto the hills of Lockyer National Park. The cabin is set 100 metres away from the main house providing privacy plus easy road access & convenient parking right at the door. The side by side cabin is joined by a deck where you can enjoy the view and the incredible sunrises/sunsets whilst watching the wallabies graze. On the property is a horse and cattle.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside, or talk to the farm animals and wander around our property spotting birds, wallabies and maybe an echidna! Only 15 minutes to Toowoomba, but far enough away to see every star in the night sky. Recharge while you read a book in bed and watch the cows graze just outside your window, then enjoy drinks and a bbq on the deck later on while you watch the sunset. The kids will love it too!

Unplug, and reconnect with nature in our off-grid shipping container, with outdoor bathroom, while still enjoying all the essentials, which are run off solar power. Embrace the tranquility and savour the simple pleasures in life. We welcome guests of all race,faiths,genders and are lgbtq + friendly.

Comfortable and cosy, cottage style accommodation with back deck and full kitchen. Our cottage also has a fireplace and 4 person spa on the deck. Come and experience the peace of country living, blanketed by the stunning night sky whilst enjoying a glass of your favourite around the open fire. We run sheep and cattle on our property and have a sheep dog called Shred.
