Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

The cottage is 20 minutes drive from Dorchester and Bridport. 40 minutes to Durdle Door. Upstairs kitchen area with cooker, fridge, washing machine, lounge area with lots of books, DVD ‘s. Dining area and balcony with seating. Downstairs Large bedroom with King Size bed. Bathroom with shower. Outside pretty walled garden with seating.

Berry Farm Cottage nestles in a private area of the grounds of Berry Farm, which dates back to the 16th century. It is located in the charming Conservation Village of Walditch, within walking distance of Bridport. The Cottage itself has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an open-plan living space and is set away from the main house in its own private grounds, with 1,200sqm (0.3acres) of orchard garden, as well as an outside patio with table and chairs, with country views.
