Small town, relaxing stay with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Enjoyed watching movies and playing games at night. Rio Grande is a small town gem and the Little Brick House makes itself part of the great experience.

We went to enjoy a quiet nature vacation and that’s exactly what we got. Quincy was even able to accommodate a last minute change so we could extend our stay. Lovely pantry option made for zero shopping and was waiting for us upon arrival. Lovely spot with a delightful host. Thank you!

Vielen lieben Dank, dass wir bei euch ein paar Tage übernachten konnten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer waren sauber und das nötigste (Kaffee, Filter, Kaffeemaschine, Salz,…) war bereits vorhanden. Sogar eine Schale mit Obst und Schokolade stand für uns bereit. Danke, dass ihr uns so lieb umsorgt habt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! ♥️

Very tidy, lovely spot, with a great view of the Ohio river. Rebecca was quick to respond, and every thing we needed for our stay was prepared prior to our arrival. The breakfast was delicious, and served on-time. (I’d particularly recommend the veggie lover omelette). A great spot, I’d definitely recommend!!

Literally the pictures didn’t do it justice, this home clearly is well taken care of, Betsy really put so much thought and effort into every little detail. This was true southern hospitality! If we’re ever in the area again and need a place to stay, we’ll book here and will arrange travel dates specifically based on availability for this place. Such a special place! Depot Lodge goes above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable getaway. Truly no stone was left unturned. We enjoyed a peaceful couple of days at Fox Hill Cabin and it could not have been better. Private, comfortable, and clean. Perfect for my husband, one year old and me. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here. Although it was a shared space with the hosts, it felt extremely private. We heard someone vacuuming (it was quiet though) one time during the day and otherwise never heard a thing! They probably couldn't say the same about us... we have young children. haha There was so much space, definitely on the larger side for a lot of airbnbs! It was nicely cleaned but did seem like someone generally lived there - the fridge and cupboards were stocked with all sorts of partly used food items. That was a little strange for us, since our typical experience has been no food items except what the guests are allowed to use. We figured it all belonged to someone, so opted for just using our own things so we wouldn't overstep. There were strange circular lights in the bedrooms that would glow/flash neon green off and on through the night, which was a bit disturbing, but otherwise everything was comfortable and nice! The kids enjoyed seeing the cat on the porch!

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was beautiful, comfy, safe, and everything we had hoped for. We loved the large kitchen for cooking breakfasts, the grill for dinner, the hot tub was amazing after a long day of exploring in the gorgeous mountains and woods in the area. It was the perfect setting for my senior rescue dogs who are fearful of a lot of things and do best in calm, peaceful settings. They were able to take little short hikes and relax and explore there. We will DEFINITELY be returning for future vacations and recommending your place to our friends and family for their vacations. A week later and Im still missing waking up to enjoy my morning coffee out on the deck while watching the stunning fog rolling across the mountains. Joe is an excellent host, and super cool, very nice guy. He was extremely helpful and available for anything we needed. He even drew us little maps with landmarks to find our way around the area and helped us to decide which trails to adventure into, etc. We can thank him enough for hosting us!

The house was very comfortable. We loved all the natural light coming in through the large windows. The views were spectacular. We awakened to beautiful sunrises and the distant sounds of the cows in the pasture. The grounds were beautifully kept, and we were in awe of the history that resonated there. Chris and Anita were genuinely friendly and helpful. We especially loved visiting their pond, sitting on the porches, bird watching, and the special touches of food items in the kitchen, and the spa-like feel of the bathrooms. We left Union, wishing we had more time to spend at this property. We will definitely be returning.
