Close to the beach and city, Chichester, Portsmouth, Goodwood, Cowdray and Witterings beaches are close by while the train takes you to Waterloo in an hour. There are garden games, a tree swing, tree house, firepit and football to enjoy while the pool and tennis court are available from late May until the end Sept/early Oct, Mon- Sat 9am - 1 pm.

The Victorian Lodge (1876) is a charming & quintessentially English country cottage on a private estate once owned by King Henry 8th. It sits right beside Windsor Great Park, at the entrance of a long driveway to Little Dower House, where the owners of the Lodge live. The private gardens and stunning view at the Victorian Lodge provide the perfect setting for a small intimate wedding. Whilst the romantic gardens within the Little Dower House estate provide an ideal venue for larger weddings.

Farthings - genuine Austen charm cottage & garden

Renovated in June 2019, the house is a real haven, ideally located in the heart of Chawton village and surrounding Hampshire. Farthings was built circa 1700 for the workers of the Squires big house, which is now the Jane Austen Library in the centre of Chawton. The writer's home, now a museum, is directly opposite the house and it's said that Austen family members stayed in Farthings when they ran out of room. They certainly smoked hams for Squire Knight's guests in the inglenook fireplace.

It was home to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Queen Victoria's right-hand man, who not only christened and crowned the Queen but then went on to marry her Prince Albert.
