De nombreux sentiers de randonnée passent juste devant la porte, comme la Via Monte Lariani, dont un ancien sentier part de Côme et se termine à Sorico, dernier village au nord, offrant une vue imprenable sur le lac, ses baies et ses promontoires. La Villa Iolanda est à environ 5 à 10 minutes à pied du parking public. La plage est à environ 10 minutes à pied et 2 minutes en voiture. Excursion : Le refuge La Canua (1 500 m) est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture et une heure de marche.
