The host was very kind, accommodating, and had a quick response time to all messages. The house is adorable and was a great fit for 5 friends wanting to get away for a night! I would highly recommend this house and encourage you to use the outdoor space!

Loved our stay here! It was cozy and peaceful for a little weekend getaway. While it was rainy we still had a lovely view of the water and stuff to do nearby (recommend the antiques marketplace). Kelcey was helpful and communicative! Want to come back to read on that beautiful screened porch!

A fantastic weekend getaway! Natalie’s home is beautifully located, offers spectacular views, and is incredibly well appointed with thoughtful touches like extra plush towels and spices and coffee. We enjoyed everything and even though the weather did not cooperate we had days of exploring the natural beauty, history, and local towns.

The property is beautiful, its just like the pictures. The location is peaceful and quite. Its a perfect spot to just to relax and reconnect. Can't say enough good things about the cottage. Clean, Bed was nice, view was amazing, Hot tub, kayaks, plenty of firewood for a beach fire. During our stay we went to main street in North East it was about a 7 minute drive. It was a nice little town to walk. Chesapeake Coffee Co for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. We had lunch at Woody's crab shack. Ordered in pizza from Bella Pizza, Went to Nauti Goose. I was underwhelmed at all restaurants and by all meals. If we come back again, I'd get groceries to cook, there is a grill to use (we didn't) and stay in, just take in the view and enjoy the peaceful waves. We would defiantly recommend and hopefully be back again soon.

This was a great place to stay and was exactly what we expected. The house is set in a residential neighborhood, but felt private. Definitely have to drive to get to the beaches, but it was not far (maybe 10 minutes, more during the busy season, I'm sure). Everything was clean. Check in was simple and easy. They do not bug you, and since everything was simple, I had no reason to contact them. Dog friendly, but so clean you wouldn't know. Fenced in back yard was perfect for your dog. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area - although, 7 adults might be pretty cramped. Maybe 2 families max. Will definitely stay here again.

What can I say. This property is incredible. This is clearly a loved home, and every detail has been thought of. From a fully equipped kitchen, to beautiful home decor, it has everything. The location is great. We were any place we wanted to be within a 10-20 minute drive. Our pups loved having the fenced in back yard to play in, this also reduced a tremendous amount of stress on us, as we knew they were safe! The hot tub is an amazing addition! Overall, the property was extremely clean, well maintained, and a great place to rent for a few days. Michele was an amazing host from pre-booking to post vacation. She had local recommendations, she was super responsive (we didn't need her for anything, but knew she was right there), and just a kind and thoughtful person. We were greeted with an anniversary sign, an Easter basket filled with treats, and some much more. We highly recommend this host and her property. We will certainly be back! Thank you for an amazing time.

The place was perfect for what me and my guests were looking for. Great location with a great host, Rebekka. The home is secluded but still close enough to get to anywhere in the area with a short drive. The description, amenities and pictures of her place, are spot on Rebekka was very friendly, responsive, gave tips for things to do, and was just very easy to deal with. It was a hassle free stay and would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again.

The house was super clean, comfortable and walking distance to some delicious restaurants! I highly recommend this spot if you have dogs; the yard is fully fenced with privacy fencing, is clean and spacious enough for large dogs to run around. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood as well. I’ve stayed in some other Airbnb’s that had a chore list a mile long, with complicated check in/out instructions but this place was the total opposite. The whole process and stay was super easy and worry free. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future! :)

The cottage was adorable and extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils and bath products. We didn't end up bringing our pup and regret it because the outdoor space is HUGE! The location was better than expected as it's an easy walk to the water. 5/5!

Jennifer's cottage is great! It is quiet, peaceful, and private but still right in the middle of everything - a 30 second walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Would also be really convenient for folks visiting the Naval Academy or St Johns. We had a great time and will almost certainly be back.

Jacki's home was so lovely and perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends. We brought our dog who absolutely loved the fenced-in yard and extra loved the mountain of toys stocked in the house!

We came here for a quick few nights and it was absolutely perfect. Susan was a great host. It was in a great location and there was lots in walking distance to do! We had a great time and would definitely come back and stay here again.

Our stay was great! We just needed a place to for a quick stay as a part of a further trip down south. All amenities were in place as mentioned in description. Make sure you read descriptions because the house is pet friendly and I did notice a scent of dogs when I arrived. I’m very allergic to dogs so I made a mistake but honestly I was still fine with just taking allergy medicine! Very rural area so no neighbors, loud noises or anything. So if you like something that’s good for a quiet getaway with no phones then this is perfect. Really get to touch grass haha. We made marshmallows with the fire pit and steaks and dogs on the grill. Perfect Sunday night for my family.

We had a wonderful stay with our puppy! Chuck was very thoughtful and welcoming with the many amenities available. We felt right at home and it's so close to restaurants and the water. Looking forward to our next visit!

We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

This was our second stay with Bob and Lolly in Tall Timbers, and it did not disappoint! Immersed in books and history, this quaint cottage was the perfect getaway. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Joyce has done a phenomenal job with this lake house. Everything has been thought through. The house actually looks even better than the pictures. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor. And it is super clean. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you would need ant home or away. Ample seasoned fire wood and starter sticks makes using their MASSIVE fire pit a breeze. The best part is she gives you access to both of their docks and you will not have to take your boat or kayak out of the water once. We kayak fished Johnson’s and Lacey’s with ease from her house. 100% coming back to stay again.

Me and my boyfriend wanted to find a place to get away and this was a great spot to feel especially near the wonderful beach & setting, We love their backyard and creative decoration in the cottage!

We stayed at Richard’s because we were getting married on the beach which is right behind the house however weather halted tht so we opted to get married right in his beautiful backyard. The first day we were there we met his father who introduced himself and let us know tht if there was anything we needed to just reach out. Richard and his Mom actually were very sweet and left us a beautiful card for our wedding, the house is gorgeous and it was very clean. There were a lot a personal touches in the house tht made it truly feel like you were home. I can’t wait to stay there again next year for our 1st year wedding anniversary.

We had a wonderful stay at Bell Farm Cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease. The cottage is charming and perfectly appointed — it has everything you need without feeling cluttered. Tia, the host, has truly thought of every detail, ensuring guests have all the comforts of home while maintaining a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The location is ideal—just a short drive to Onancock, a quaint town with lovely water access. The Peninsula's natural beauty is all around, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Whether relaxing in the cottage or exploring nearby attractions, we felt we could experience the best of the area from Greenbush as our home base. Tia was such a thoughtful and considerate host. She goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is memorable and enjoyable. Her warmth made our stay even more special. We highly recommend Bell Farm Cottage for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed getaway in a beautiful location.

We loved our stay at Janet’s place! She was incredibly easy to communicate with, and the house was absolutely perfect—comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed being nestled into Ewell, with convenient access to the water, shops, food, and golf cart rentals. It made for a truly relaxing and memorable getaway.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding in Manquin. We just loved it! Our favorite thing was the covered porch where we ate our breakfast, and watched Bald Eagles. The property is off the beaten path, but VERY close to a grocery store. About 5 minutes to the interstate, so it is very accessible to anything. There is a horse farm across from the property, and it was very enjoyable to watch the horses. We also watched Bald Eagles from the front porch!! The cottage was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower amazing! Would definitely stay again!

It was a great stay. Host was responsive and home was calm and clean. Loved seeing the osprey from bed! Those windows highlighted the beautiful view. The weather was a bit dumpy but the space provided everything we needed.

Cleopatra's place was cozy and clean, except for the pollen on the screened in porch, which I learned is typical during the spring off-season time when we visited (in mid-April). Cleopatra is very responsive and the place and looked just like the photos. The house is nicely situated away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk and surrounding area, but still within walking distance to the beach and town. It was lovely to come back for a break away from the crowds, and to prepare some simple meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We discovered a nice walking trail on the last day, which is also possible to cycle on, and only wished we knew about it before! My only complaint is that the bicycles were in disrepair. Though functional, they need some maintenance and repairs. But they might already be upgraded for the next guests given how responsive Cleopatra is! We still managed to explore and enjoy the area. Highly recommend walking near the lake as well as the beach!
