Clare : locations de vacances au bord de l'eau

Der Aufenthalt bei Jolanta und Robert hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns schnell wohl gefühlt und haben auf jeden Nachfrage eine schnelle Antwort erhalten. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten waren sehr gemütlich! Vielen Dank für eine kurze, schöne Auszeit 💖

Wir haben uns in Martys Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und deren zentrale Lage war perfekt für uns. Wir konnten zu Fuss der Küste entlang gehen, an den Strand und in den Ort Kilkee. Es hat uns sehr gefallen.

Unser Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartung mehr als übertroffen. Das Céilí Cottage (fußläufig nach Spanish Point Beach, Golfclub und den Bellsbridge Restaurant, ca. 5 Minuten mit den Auto nach Miltown Malbay) ist gut gelegen. Die Betten sind komfortabel und die Einrichtung geschmackvoll ausgewählt. Das Badezimmer ist wunderschön und sowie auch das gesamte Cottage makellos gereinigt. Besonders freute uns aber Keiths Gastfreundschaft: im Céilí Cottage zu übernachten fühlt gleichzeitig an wie eine Übernachtung im 5-Sterne-Hotel und einen alten Freund zu besuchen. Wir kehren auf jeden Fall wieder zurück!

A beautiful place in the most central location. Really cosy for a group. Lots of pre check in instructions but it all makes sense when you are there! Would definitely recommend and hopefully return one day 🙏

Johnstons is great! Kinvarra is such a charming town and this place is a great spot for exploring it. Lily and Richard were very easy to chat with, and had lots of great local recommendations. The apartment is huge and filled with art and posters reflecting the history of the building. It also has easily one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. And of course Aunt Agnes.

Excellent host, spotless house, beautiful view, so close to the beach, had full use of three kayaks, only 10 min walk to great restaurant (Long Dock) and pubs (Keanes’ had a great trad music session), only 12 min drive to Kilkee and Loop Head not far either. We had a great 3 day holiday, thanks John!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very well equipped with everything we needed. There is a lovely view onto the marina from the balcony and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. It is in walking distance to restaurants and cafes along the river. Susanne was very helpful and let us know when the apartment was ready so we could check in. I will recommend this apartment to friends and family and hope to return soon.

Nice cottage with much Space and a comfortable living room with oven. Directly next to the lake and Lots of green around it

Our stay was picturesque, and everything we could have hoped for. The homes spacious rooms and many windows made it sinfully easy to sit and spend hours sipping coffee and watching the water and scenery. None of us were prepared to leave when our reservation was over, and I certainly left a piece of my heart among the greenery. T was responsive and helpful, and their recommendations for local experiences were invaluable.

Ivan was a great and welcoming host. He met us on arrival and explained everything about the house very well. There were food supplies in the fridge and some fresh local bread waiting for us. The house is comfortable and spacious easily accommodating our party of 8. It is located within walking distance of the Armada Hotel and Spanish Point beach with lovely views from the living room. Would recommend this house and even stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Stormont House. The house is in a beautiful location. Very peaceful but 5 mins walk to shops. Perfect as a base for touring or just a very relaxing break. House is immaculate and very spacious. Hosts helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Lovely house in a very quiet location. House - very, very well equipped for a holiday rental. Lots of extra stuff (kitchen stuff, board games etc.) over and above a normal rental. Plenty of new fluffy towels, soaps, cleaning products and equipment, herbs, spices, basic condiments, tea and coffee ++++++ many other extras. Bedrooms are all downstairs but the second bathroom is upstairs. This is the only accessible room upstairs as the owners were locked. Property has plenty of parking and a big area for ball games, even a basketball and net! I found the main bed very firm and not that comfy, but that could be me! Lovely views out over the beach to the Atlantic. Quilty is very very quiet, especially in October. Just a pub, will equipped but expensive shop and the beach. Everywhere is a drive away. Cliffs of Moher, Doonbeg, Lahinch all within driving distance and worth a visit. Overall I’d highly recommend Geraldine’s house with the caveat that the immediate area is quiet!

This house is so spacious, comfortable, clean, bright, modern and peaceful. It is a bit away from the main village, but there are plenty of taxi's. Michael, who collected us from the airport was so helpful and even stopped by the local shop for us to stock up. He made sure we knew how everything worked in the house. We had a lovely tour of the island by local man Tommy, who was very knowledgable and was so giving with his time. Then Mairtin, who is fun and a character took us back to the airport on our return home This is a perfect house for a family or a large gathering of people. I would highly recommend this house.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the home was well equipped and clean. Loved having coffee watching the tides and all that Kinvarra had to offer. Highly recommend

Grazie Marianne, e grazie anche a Ann e a Seamus: ci avete dato dato un'accoglienza meravigliosa! Speriamo proprio di riuscire a tornare. L'appartamento è in una zona da cartolina: attraverso la passerella sul fiume Shannon si arriva comodamente in centro, dove si trovano molti locali carini. Noi una sera abbiamo cenato da O'Donovan (a Ballina, dall'altra parte del fiume): consigliatissimo! Percorrendo la comoda ciclabile verso nord, in 3km circa si arriva all'imbocco per i sentieri della Ballycuggaran Forest, da cui il panorama sul lago Derg lascia a bocca aperta; è un paradiso per il trail running. Nell'appartamento c'è tutto quello che serve e anche di più: lavatrice, cucina con ogni comodità compresa lavastoviglie, due comodi e fornitissimi bagni... e se alla sera piove troppo per uscire (o sei troppo stanco), in soggiorno ci si può rilassare su due comodi divani guardando contenuti in streaming (ci sono Apple TV e Internet). Insomma: un gioiello! Grazie ragazzi ;-)

We had a great stay. Very quiet area but close to lots of shops, restaurants and places to see. 15 min drive to Kilkee. Beautiful view from the living room and a very welcoming host. Special thanks for the apple tart, Martin, it was delicious. Very clean too. Was a great base to explore Clare.

Edel's had the best, most comfy beds and linens in Ireland. We loved the sea views from the patio and hearing the ocean waves at night. Edel directed us to the town of Ennistymon for a delightful lunch, shopping, and the Glen Walk. She is a wonderful, informative host.

Highly recommend a stay here. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Apartment extremely clean and lots of facilities. Beautiful location too. And perfect spot as a base to explore other places in Clare. Will definitely be back.
