We booked Evan’s place at the last minute. We got into town WAY BEFORE check in. Evan was super cool and said early check in was no problem. He lives behind the unit in a separate house and we met him as he was leaving to pick up his son and we were arriving. Could not have been a nicer guy! True to his word after we said our hellos and he left to get his child we never saw him again…that is a great host! Lots of good coffee places around and cool funky restaurants as well. You will love the neighborhood and the place!!!

We had a great stay at Don's place. We chose it because it was close to restaurants and things that we wanted to see and do - including being walking distance from our daughter's place. It worked out perfectly for us. His communication before our arrival was clear and welcoming and he was available during our stay if we needed him to be. The house had everything that we needed, and we were comfortable staying there for our long weekend. We would definitely stay there again.

For 8 years we have come to Portland to see our daughter and stayed in various bnbs in NE Portland. Chris's was the absolute best. From the easy street parking and entry to the house, comfy couch & TV, the kitchen sparkling and well stocked with all we needed. Wonderful beds with the softest blankets and a terrific huge shower with really hot water. Flowering dogwood tree in the frontyard and bluebells and tulips in the garden. Great neighborhood to walk in, park only a few blocks away and Portland foodie restaurants easily driveable. Definitely highly recommend.

Beautiful home with easy access to everything in town. We were there for a wedding. Stayed in this home with our adult kids and grandson. The homeowners provided everything including toys. The set up was great. If we had the time we would have loved to yoyse the fire pit in back. I would recommend to others.

we had a really nice time in Portland. the house was very clean, free of clutter and with easy check-in instructions. there are actually three bedrooms which was really nice since we were traveling with friends and our toddler. would definitely stay here again

Charming Bungalow in the Heart of Alberta Arts! We loved our stay at this cozy and well-appointed home. The vintage charm and modern comforts made it perfect for our family of four. The single-level layout, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms gave us plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bikes in the shed were a hit with our teens! Being steps from Alberta’s shops, restaurants, and street art was a huge plus—and having driveway parking made things even easier. A true Portland gem—walkable, comfortable, and full of local flavor!

Convenient location with a coffee shop one block away and half a mile to Mississippi street. Dog friendly, vinyl flooring. Kitchen had everything we needed and more! Will stay again.

The house was perfect- clean, vibrant, private and relaxing. Beds and pillows were cozy with a well stocked kitchen and lots of seating. Backyard was our favorite part.

Leslie was very easy to communicate with and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. Very nice neighborhood and very walkable.

Wonderful little getaway in Portland . Jane was a great host, and we felt very comfortable in the space. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Artisan Sanctuary! It exceeded our expectations and we felt so comfortable and peaceful in the space. Margo was so warm and welcoming, and helped us get situated with using her bikes. Which was definitely our favorite aspect of staying there! The two road bikes were very retro but sturdy and easy to ride, made us feel like locals. And biking is the best way to see Portland and especially the Alberta neighborhood! Margo was so quick to respond to any of my questions and she was very flexible with check-in/check-out times which made our trip a lot easier. We will definitely book this place again when we come back and visit Portland!

Such a cute, clean and contemporary place. We loved the cleanliness, fresh smell, and thoughtful additions such as Q-Tips, Feminine products, flip-flops, robes, and an ironing board/iron (good quality!) We certainly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Loved this space!! Even better than the pics, super clean, very cozy. We walked everywhere and the neighborhood is beautiful. Easy parking. Great host. We’ll be back!

Russell's place is small but the beds are comfortable and the amenities are all that you will need. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and products in case we forgot ours. The kitchen had enough food available if you were unable to grab a bite before check-in late at night. There were plenty of condiments and spices if you wanted to cook (we didn't) along with coffee to grind, a grinder and a coffee maker. The heating system is tricky but Russell provided instructions so it worked well. He also answered the phone and provided the entry code when I called. There were board games for people who wanted to stay off the grid and lots of movies available. We had a nice time and would definitely stay again.

The Quiet Place was great, it was centrally located to what we needed to do. Dee Dee was very responsive to messages, I would definitely stay again. Also, being in a basement, there was not much noise from up top, nothing out of the ordinary foot steps. Great place!

This is the second time staying in their apartment. Anytime I’m back to Portland will stay there (if available). Great location, great hosts. Great place!

This little condo was perfect for my holiday visit to see my family. The location is great: very close to freeways (but not too close to hear), easy to get to Downtown Vancouver or Portland. There are stores (Fred Meyers has anything you could want) and restaurants nearby, especially McMenamins, which I always hit anyway when I'm in town . I love the waterfront walk which is only a few steps away. The condo had all the amenities I needed in the kitchen. There were a few things that I didn't like, 1. The air traffic to PDX was directly over the condo. This could be very loud at times but from what I understand depends on the weather pattern (I was there in winter). 2. I didn't like the rain, which has nothing to do with the property but kept me from enjoying morning coffee on the lovely patio (though I still got a couple of mornings in when it wasn't raining so hard). 3. I mention this for the elderly or those with bad knees, there's steep steps, 19 of 'em, to get in/out of the condo.

My family and I stayed at this condo during a home renovation for five weeks - by far our longest stay in a rental like this! The condo was just as described, and all of the hosts were very responsive (within minutes) to any issues, such as getting us a replacement for a burnt-out light bulb. The condo itself was clean and modern, and had a lot of natural light from the windows along the outside wall. The patio was great on sunny days. The building itself was very quiet, we never heard much of anything from any of the other units. The corner of the neighborhood the condo is located in was also surprisingly quiet, given it's proximity to major streets. We enjoyed being just a block or two from a lot of great shops and restaurants, and street parking was never much of an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed in the Mississippi neighborhood several times over the last two years. Lindsay's chic flat is in the top category of places I've stayed. The kitchen was well equipped to handle what little cooking I did, the bathroom was commodious and well-heated, and the bed comfortable. I recommend it highly!
