This unique cabin sits on 1.5 wooded acres, sleeps 6, includes two decks with outdoor sitting and cooking area, fire pit, and direct access to the river. Just 3 minutes away from John C. Campbell Folk School and less than 5 miles to downtown Murphy where you will find local shops, dining, and the small town atmosphere that will have you wanting more.

Huge screened in front porch that overlooks the lake. Master bedroom has a king bed with more amazing lake views. With 3 bedrooms upstairs then a large basement with two more bedrooms and living room there will be plenty of space for a large family or group. Quiet cove is great to paddle board or Kayak. Only a few miles from town.

Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Waterwheel Cabin by the Creek

This rustic two-story newly renovated cabin is right on a creek with a covered bridge and water wheel. Located just 15 minutes from the Harrah's Valley River Casino or beautiful downtown Murphy and just a short drive to John C. Campbell Folk School. There is a propane grill outside with table and chairs for outside dining and also Adirondack chairs to sit and enjoy the creek. From the downstairs living area, you can look out the windows and enjoy the view of the creek and water wheel.

Site includes picnic table, fire pit & 2 chairs. Relax or venture out to many of the nearby area attractions. Excellent motorcycle riding, hiking and fishing. There are plenty of sights and sounds of nature to enjoy. Use of a shared outdoor bathroom with heat with a hot shower and a common picnic area next to the creek

World class whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala are just minutes away.

Gorgeous Log Cabin on a beautiful rushing creek! On property: hiking, fishing, firepit, cornhole, disc golf, 2 person hammock, porch swing, rocking chairs, etc! Nearby: golf, horseback riding, tubing, rafting, biking, off roading, antiquing, wineries, breweries, and pristine Lake Chatuge where you can swim, fish, rent a boat, jet ski, kayak, paddle board, or play on the inflatable obstacle course! The cabin is a 3/2.5 and sleeps up to 9 people in super comfy beds!

We are located near lots of hiking trails, wonderful shops and restaurants and near the John C. Campbell Folk School. Our place is dog friendly and a great place to enjoy and explore the area.
