Over the weekend my (now) husband and I decided to get married on this property and it was nothing short of perfect for us. The cabin is beautiful and they spared no expense to make it comfortable & luxurious. You can really tell how much love & thought went into the cabin. I'm usually begging for my own bed after being away from home and not once did I miss my usual comforts. The grounds are GORGEOUS & represent the most beautiful parts of Kentucky countryside. There is a cow & about 50 chickens on site & all of our guests went to say hi at some point. The property is so quiet (besides the birds and the occasional crowing of a rooster) and it was easy to take a deep breath and sigh in relief. Susan & Berard are the SWEETEST & so accommodating. They provided us with 30 chairs, tablecloths, napkins, a delicious veggie tray & fruit bowl, and 18 farm fresh eggs (in this economy?!). They made sure we had everything we needed & our wedding weekend was perfect thanks to their generosity.

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

We really, really enjoyed this property even though it rained & stormed every day. The view is so gorgeous! We actually enjoyed watching the storms out the large windows that overlook the property, the large pond and rolling hills. Watching the deer meandering around as they fed and the turkeys chasing each other was better than watching TV. This property is so peaceful. On nice days, there is lots to do as he says in the description…pontoon & paddle boat on the pond, a fire pit area, the hot tub, corn hole, comfortable deck, and just walking the property. The home was spotless and very comfortably appointed. We could not think of one thing we would have wanted that wasn’t already provided. So many towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, etc. Beautiful and tasteful decor. Comfortable beds. We traveled with another couple & there was plenty of room. Jim was very responsive from beginning to end. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. I’m sure anyone would love their stay.

From the very beginning they were very attentive to my questions. The location was prefect for what we wanted. The porch was our favorite spot and was out there most of the time. The location was private but only a few miles from town making getting from a Madison to the Cabin very quick. The beds were very comfortable, the who place was clean, stocked with just enough dishes and cookware to have our meals prepared in home. It was so relaxing and serene. This tops as the favorite they have stayed at with me. Their book of information was very helpful. Very vital information needed was inside. My sister went through the brochures of local information which steered us to various locations in town. My sister enjoyed the creek walking down to see the water falls. There is nothing negative to say. This was perfect for the three nights we needed. We will definitely come back next time we're in Madison.

This getaway was just as cute in person as is in the pictures. The rich history of the location and original architecture of the cabin left us speculating about the first owners. Really neat to see. Don and Michelle were quick with communication and responses. Didn't have any issues with our stay or this property. (PLEASE read reviews that mention the stairs to the beds/lofts. 😉)

Girls weekend away was a success! Just some quiet time away. Lots of birds, that some are uncommon. The Pygmy goats are pretty cute too. The creek would be perfect for exploring. Hot tub was perfect too. Thanks Allison for sharing Mamaws cabin.

We wanted a quiet getaway for a nice long weekend and this spot was perfect! We loved the hot tub and used it everyday. Randy mentioned some short trails to walk on which we would have done if the weather was better. The location was great if you want to get away from the city.

A wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend away. Between the outdoor fire place, hot tub, back deck, game garage, 3 wrap around porches, and cozy living room, you will never run out of places to kick your feet up or have some fun. The cabin is both beautiful and feels clean. The host was very nice. The neighborhood allows for a feeling of privacy. Tons to do on site. Would highly recommend

We had 10 of us staying and the cabin was large enough to accommodate all of us (6 bedrooms). It was really nice to have your own private bathroom! The cabin and property was beautiful. One thing to remember when staying in a cabin . . . the walls are very thin so you can hear conversations in other rooms! We got a kick out of that and it made for some great conversations/laughs at breakfast! As with any cabin in the woods - you will have small items/issues that pop up, so I would just say keep an open mind. What stood out the most was the immediate response from Ally on any questions or concerns we had (even before we got there!). You can tell that she wants the renters to be comfortable and have their needs met. We would definitely stay here again - loved it!!

My golfing group has stayed here before and we love this house. It’s got everything you could want and is in a very private location with four courses within 45 minutes. Also, Jessica is a great host. Super communicative and responsive. We had another great stay.

John's home is very lovely. We saw deer and birds at the pond. It was very peaceful and quiet. Great place to come home to after a long day at work.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was just what our family of 5 needed. We love staying in unique places a little off the beaten path, and this was just the place for us. It was close enough to the things we wanted to do, but far enough away to be peaceful.

This was such a quaint cabin. Really beautiful and we really enjoyed the peacefulness. He is a great host. Nice snacks, very quick to respond. Michael took great care of us, we ran out of propane for cooking and he made sure we had more in a very reasonable amount of time. It was a great adventure and Michael made it a good one! Thank you.

We just loved it here! So cozy! So roomy! Very, very nice! Linda was very helpful throughout!! Very easy, and enjoyable to talk to you. Highly recommend!

We had such a peaceful stay at the cabin. It was a great location for quiet family time and visiting the creation museum and the ark.

I can not say enough about our time at Cabin Sweet Cabin! We came to Kentucky for a family vacation, and it did not disappoint. The very first night we arrived to homemade cookies on the kitchen island, and rain pouring on the roof ... perfection! We would explore different areas of Kentucky and Ohio each day, but we knew that we would be escaping back the the serenity of Cabin Sweet Cabin at the end of each day. It was what we looked forward to. There was so much attention to detail. Molly literally thought of everything! The porches, the fire pit, the large yard/woods to roam, it was everything we ever could have imagined. As Christ-followers, having scripture written on the walls of the home was something that gave us comfort. It was a constant reminder that God was present. We left feeling sad, as Cabin Sweet Cabin truly was a little piece of heaven!

it's the second time my girlfriend and I have stayed here and it's been great every time always will recommend a beautiful home and beautiful scenery

My wife and I stayed a couple of days at the cabin at Christmas. Dominique was a great host - very helpful with recommendations and always responsive. The cabin is super cozy and had everything we needed. This is the place to come for quiet time, for sure. We appreciated the special personal touches that Dominique had in the cabin to make the stay even more memorable. We certainly recommend.

This place was amazing. The home is top notch and farm is wonderful.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay! Beautiful and relaxing. I could sit on the porch and watch the barges on the river all day. It was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and Cincinnati Zoo. Angie was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here!

We so enjoyed staying at this charming cabin! The cabin is exactly as described and is even cuter in person. Such a peaceful environment to relax and unwind. And the cabin is very family friendly too, with baby gates by the stairs and a high chair. 10/10 recommend!
