This place felt cozy and felt like home. Since we have little ones they loved the theater room. Watched lots of movies and lots of popcorn. Bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. This place is on top of our list for future getaways.

My wife Labri and I loved Meri’s cabin. It was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend away. We felt right at hime from the second we arrived. The soaking tub is super nice and a perfect place to wind down at night. The square hammock is a great place for star gazing. We didn’t end up using the firepit due to high winds but I’m sure it would be nice. The cabin has everything you need for a romantic getaway. The dirt road up to the place is very bumpy and you have to go pretty slow so be prepared for that. I recommend you bring all the food and drinks you need so you don’t have to go out a lot. The cabin is only 30 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park, which is a must see. All in all the place is perfect and highly recommend you stay here.

Host was super nice!! Very responsive if and when you need something. The place was a lovely place and very peaceful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a break from the city life. Looks like it will be beautiful during the snowy season also. We would definitely come back to the place.

Awesome views! Hot tub was nice and hot, even in the unexpected snow we got! Loved the deck! Very quiet location. Also loved having the two bathrooms! It’s about a 10 minute drive to town which has lots of restaurants and shops. Host was quick to answer calls. I do wish it had digital locks so you didn’t have to go to a different location to pick up a key and maybe have some coffee grounds at the cabin, but definitely not a deal breaker! Lots of chipmunks, birds and quail running around. We had a great time!

My son and I have been visiting Idyllwild a few times a year since he was a young teen. We've stayed all over town, and we like Astrid's best so far. We came this time to lock ourselves in for the weekend of Alien Day (iykyk) to watch all of the movies. I chose this place because of the living room and TVs, and my son loved bringing his vinyl to spin. It was perfect for our niche trip. The photos don't do the place justice. It's cozy and interesting and filled with cool little details in each space. All of the instructions are clear, and Astrid is beyond helpful when answering ridiculous little questions. From the windows we saw deer families, chonky squirrels, and a very proud blue jay. At dusk, we heard the adorable clicks and commotion of resident bats. Astrid's place is perfect for families, couples, grown siblings. It's got great common areas and private rooms. A fantastic place that we will stay in again as soon as we have a chance.

Great location and host is quick to communicate. Booked last minute and they were fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines! The cozy cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. The backyard is a huge blessing and allowed us to have some time together without our pups. Jay is a kind person and welcomed us when we arrived. We are hoping to make this an annual trip! Thank you Jay 🐾

I wish I could live in that cabin forever! They have everything you need and It’s exactly what you’d want if your goal is to get away from the city and live in nature. There was nothing better than sitting by that fireplace on a chilly night with a drink. 10/10 would stay again!

We had a great stay at Jeff and Lizzie's. The house comfortably accommodated six people and was extremely cozy. There are also nice places to sit outside on the front porch or the hammocks outback, to enjoy the quiet with a good book. The house is conveniently located to the center of Idyllwild. The house was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We hope to have an opportunity to stay here again soon!

Had a wonderful stay! I loved the hot tub and cozy decor, and my dog loved the spacious fenced-in yard. The location was perfect - a 5-minute drive to the village and a 5-minute walk to the park. Johanna was a great host and super responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much for letting my family and I make a home out of your cabin for a few days! We celebrated our youngest daughter’s 6th birthday while we were there. Awesome stay! Extremely convenient for skiing/snowboarding. Loved not having to deal with parking or traffic. Will definitely come back again.

Amanda was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay in her very peaceful and quiet home. Beds and living room furniture are extremely comfortable. It’s about a 16-20 minute walk into downtown Idyllwild. However if walking with kids or pets be mindful that there are no sidewalks. I would suggest only walk it in daylight. Town folk are extremely friendly and resourceful. Would definitely stay again. We had a wonderful stay. Lisa was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean, was just like the description, and very close to town. We had fun walking from the cabin to check out the area.

We had a beautiful experience at this house. No issues at all.

Matt‘s house did not disappoint. We had plenty of parking for our four vehicles and check-in was a breeze with keyless entry. We walked in and, to be honest, the house was even nicer than the photos on the Airbnb listing. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of storage as well as a huge fridge/freezer for the food that we brought. The living room was cozy, and there was lots of seating for everybody. I don’t think we realized, when booking this, that the house is three levels. The basement level is the game room, but also has the two bunkbeds as shown in the photos. The downstairs leads out to the spa, which was great. Just a tip, be sure to turn the spa on quite early before you want to get in as it did take some time to heat up. All of our guests loved their rooms. Each space was decorated so thoughtfully. My husband and I stayed upstairs in the master bedroom (The Eagles Nest) and it was an amazing space with a really beautiful private bath. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful and welcoming place! We felt right at home and everything was clean and comfortable. Town was only a few minutes walk so the location is excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Suzanne was fantastic! She was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Excellent host!

Don and Julie were perfect hosts, and the cabin is heaven on earth! Very comfortable, clean, and warm place to spend the weekend. The courtyard garden area was a treat to look at, plenty of lovely art and great birdwatching. Don was very nice to talk to, and provided some helpful local recommendations. We will be staying here again next time we’re in Idyllwild!
