Property includes a cozy 2 bedroom bungalow, vintage camper and a game shed. Very dog friendly! Please include in your reservation dog guests as well(up to two).

Windy Pines offers a spacious bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and large bathroom. The kitchen and living room are great. This clean, comfortable, & uncluttered space is a home away from home! You will be surrounded by beautiful greenery, in a safe neighborhood with accessible parking. Close to interstate 80 & 35, the Iowa State Fair Grounds, and Downtown Des Moines. WP is attached to our home but with its own separate outside entrance. Please send me any questions.

Relaxing galaxy bell tent getaway

Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.

On site washer/dryer, close to several grocery/convenience stores, drive way parking, fully equipped kitchen, and about a 1/4 of a mile from the Heart of Iowa Trail. Access to 24/7 community fitness center.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are less than 3 miles from the Iowa state fairgrounds, 6 miles from downtown Des Moines, and 8 miles from Des Moines International Airport. Please note that from October-April we are willing to negotiate longer term stays (multiple consecutive weeks or months) for a much lower rate, pending availability.
